Kelly is now world famous for the incident last year vs the Astros. If you live in a baseball card bubble maybe he's a nobody, but welcome to the real world.

There is no possible way people look back at Taylor's 3 HRs in 30 years the same way people do with Reggie. I would say that Taylor's heroics will just go down as a statistic and nice memory for Dodgers fans and that's about it.

Probably won't watch a ton of the World Series personally, but I will be 100% rooting against the Astros.

For starters I do apologize for calling you a tweaker. You're just a super fan of the braves and I get that.

I did watch the nationals run and world series, what sticks out first thing about that post season to me IS Soto. Second thing that comes back is Rendon's homer. Soto captivated baseball fans worldwide with his confidence, nut grabbing and electric play. To top it all off he earned a world series ring.

Acuna will have to wait at least one year to try and capture that claim.

I dont think many of us are fans of even a playoff team, we are merely tallying up the general interest in the match-up. Its no knock on either team really just now that the stage is set many of us have no interest in watching.

The storyline of a rematch between the Astros and Dodgers is much much more appealing you have to admit no matter who you support. This match-up is a let down in contrast. I'm wrong a lot like my predictions when this thread started but this has got to be a very low rated world series no matter what happens.

I dont watch every world series. I'd like to but need to be drawn with a bit of interest. This years I have none.

I'd rarely watch NFL postseason games when my team wasn't in it either. This season for baseball was kind of rare the amount of TV time I spent. Good luck if your team is one of the two remaining.

Taylor did earn ToppsNow RTOD Dodger team set purchasers a bonus card with that outburst, so at least that tangible thing, however small, will result from it.

Free agent-to-be CT3 likely added a little to his next contract with this showing, so he's got that goin'.

Congrats on your jinx!

Also, the coloring on your camera makes it look like a Braves jersey in the mirror.

Probably why it worked.

Woo Braves!! This post season is bittersweet for me because I've been in Italy the whole time, which means I don't get to watch many of the games. Waking up to see the scores isn't nearly as exciting as watching the games in real time. Gonna try to catch at least one of the WS games though - probably will wait till it's elimination games. Or wake up at 5 AM to catch endings lol. At any rate, what an awesome season no matter what happens!

And please stop feeding the Scooter troll. He's just here to rile up strangers on the internet.

Congrats Braves and Braves fans, see you in the World Series!

Obviously if you're a fan of either team it doesnt matter, but from an overall ratings perspective, this is easily the worst matchup for fox.

It's weird, I watch the World Series no matter which teams are playing. I guess I love baseball more than I love any individual team.
Some of you seem to root for TV ratings.

We root for franchises that don't cheat their way to success to be in the WS. Astros are a stain on the game. Always will be.

You would think that every “true” baseball fan would be rooting hard for the Braves to win this years WS.

This. I don’t understand why anyone would truly care about “what’s good for Fox” or any network for that matter. I think this will be a good series. That being said, Braves in 6.

So I must be a false baseball fan?
That's weird.
Edit: the truth is if you're a "true" baseball fan you're hoping for a close exciting World Series, no matter which teams are playing.

That's correct.

Still won't support the MLB by watching though. Man Fred can eat one.
