I did something similar this year with the Topps Now MLB Top 100 packs - not as many as you, and I handled shipping them myself, but it was an easy way to turn points into a profit while getting a chance for parallels and autos to hold onto.

I renewed for the sets and will be renewing for the same reason this year. $200 for 5 sets, 2 autos and the stamped factory set isn't a bad deal. If you're renewing just so you can flip wax it can go either way, they did the same thing last year near the tail end, Ginter X and Rip were both $100 each with a 1 box limit, Sapphire was $299.99 with a 2 box limit so they didn't really leave a lot of meat on the bone for flippers but Christmas rolled around and they decided to gift us with GPK sapphire and UEFA sapphire which should have netted any flipper more then their membership cost. They could do the same thing this year or continue the trend of pricing near what they think the market price is.

Read post 23,987 on the last page. The print run is absolutely smaller. Not defending either side. Just stating what appears to be a fact.

But base print run is higher. That's the print run I and I believe most non-sealed collectors care about.

TBH print run doesn't matter, you can flip the numbers or even increase Sapphire by 1-2k, collectors would still pay more for sapphire because of the name recognition plus sapphire finish looks better then last years logo update. Looks like they actually added more to this years design so it could change but I doubt it will make a difference in demand.

Until we see pack odds, you're still making assumptions based on this years pack out format and last year's PR.

Too early to call fact. Maybe a good bet but we don't have the right info yet to determine if what held true last year will again this year.

It only matters in that Ben Baller is again claiming its the lowest print run Topps Chrome product (he said this last year as well) when it is not by the definition most collectors care about.

Got shipping notice for Ben Baller. Went with economy shipping.
Bowman Chrome x has been sitting in NJ for a week now, even went with standard shipping over economy.

FedEx services racing each other with the customer being the loser regardless of who wins.

FedEx terrible. I live literally less than 100 miles from Topps. I’ve had deliveries take 15 days. Then last week I ordered a case of Bowman Chrome X I think on a Thursday and it showed up on my doorstep on Saturday. No rhyme or reason to what goes quick and what doesn’t from what I can tell.

I always select the cheapest shipping option on Topps and sometimes I get an order in 3 days after they ship it, sometimes 30 days. Fedex is a mystery to me.

Yes to both - my package was transferred to USPS with a supposed delivery for today but it's somewhere in between at this point and I'm hoping to see tomorrow.

I didn't say that it was a fact. I said the comment APPEARS to be a fact. From what we know, that is a safe assumption. Things can always change. I could care less as BB stuff in general, but I believe what he said will be true. Sapphire will be way more valuable in the long run for sure. Print run doesn't always equal value.

I think FedEx has some well-known chokepoints. For me, if the package hits Ellenwood, GA I know it's a long wait. I checked my T206 order this morning and groaned when I saw it went there. I think those sites are just overrun and haven't caught up. I have no problems anymore with USPS or UPS they both seem to have most of their Covid slowdown issues under control, but FedEx is lagging.

Ripped Joey Gallo Purple #’d to 25 and pulled the Blue Larry Walker mini auto #’d to 10 which I’m super psyched about

Probably not going to rip the Black Madrigal which is #’d to 50. Might rip the Vladdy Sr base which is #’d to 99

Each order has it's own address tied to it. I have multiple addresses on my profile now, you pick your address when you submit your redemptions and when you register for the home run challenge so drop shipping a Topps now order won't effect that. Problem is drop shipping isn't a service that Topps provides. You can do it because they don't police addresses on your profile but if there are shipping issues you're likely screwed since you're not the receiver so the carrier won't help and Topps might choose to not help you either since it's likely a violation of their user policy.
