Fudge. Frick. All of the F words. What a horrible start to the year. I only with I had 500k laying around for this Goldin auction because there are going to be some deals to be had. This schedule has been brutal and the Chiefs have not been up for the task .

I completely agree , Patty was certainly off tonight (one of his worst games I have seen him play) but he will be Great no doubt in my mind . Also the schedule definitely softens up these next 5 weeks with only GB being the "upper echelon" team they face . Albeit they need to pick it up so as an entire team to make sure they dont drop one to a team they have no business losing too

Pat doesn't act like he gives whole lot of F**ks tonight...

On to the next, biggest whoopin in the Mahomes era in the regular season. At home too...

Problem with Patrick Mahomes card prices isn't that he won't have a great career, its that his prices already have multiple super bowl rings and mvps baked in. His prices should be nowhere near Tom Bradys as of now, and yet it is. The downside to his cards is tremendous while the upside is limited.

I hope tonight was just a fluke because Mahomes was awful. He threw more passes into the grass than to receivers. That dropped snap didn't help any. His running was pretty good tho…
They are going to have a short season if they don't turn things around in a hurry

Like I said, he's losing his touch. He hears Herbie and the Chargers coming with their new stud head coach Staley (For all you casual fans out there who don't know who he is, look him up). AFC West is gona be Herbert's this year. Gona be a fun battle between these two for the next decade

there's 12 more games to play...let's calm down about Mahomes "losing his touch".

QBs against Chiefs this year:
-Baker: 21/28 321yrds
-Lamar: 18/26 239yrds 107yrds rush 1TD
-Herbert: 26/38 286yrds, 4 TD
-Hurts: 32/47 387yrds, 2TD
-Allen: 15/26 315yrds 3TD, 59yrds rush 1TD

Herbert had the second fewest yards against this D.

I think the simple reality is Andy/Pat need to realize teams aren't going to let them do what they did in previous years.

There is a reason D-coordinators make a lot of money. The blue print is out. The Chiefs need to make adjustments. Short passing game should be there all day with the two high safeties.

His cute lil slings from the hip and tosses over the top getting picked essentially kills his game.

He is still better than most but his decision making coupled with Defensive adjustments is showing.

They can still turn it around but their D needs to improve and Patty needs to realize he needs to adjust as well.

Agreed on the row high safety adjustments.

The same should be able to be said for JA and the Bills O. KC D needs to get their ducks in a row.

Def on both sides should
Be able to adjust. It’s just who can adjust faster and week to week vs. an entire year later.

Looks like that's it for Patty. Hearing he will be announcing his retirement, by Tuesday at the latest.

11 turnovers compared to 3 last year at this point. Yeah the defense is bad but the team has simply not been good thus far. Schedule hasn’t helped and it won’t get any easier..2nd toughest remaining SOS. Need some major changes to occur to win the AFC.

I agree with this.

The little windows he threaded balls through the last 3 years are being closed now and its forcing him to react and make adjustments instantly. That gives the defense time to react and he throws quite a few balls into the ground.

Mahomes is just a little too nonchalant right now. Whether that's the product of being so good in the recent past, or what.. I don't know. It's not like they just won the SB in a drubbing, or even won the SB at all.

The reality is that unless the defense shores up big time - he and the rest of the offense is going to need to play their A+ ball, and do it soon.

I’m not too worried. Look at their schedule. Tonight, they lost (although I’d love to see what would have happened if that horse #@#@#@#@ roughing call never happened). Their other two losses were to playoff teams by 1 score or less. In the past few years, they came out on the positive end of the close ones more often than not. This year, not so much. The schedule starts to get easier moving forward. I’m hoping they only lose 1 or 2 more the rest of the way, but 10-7 isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Just don’t jump off a cliff quite yet.

I have the same feeling, it almost comes across a bit arrogant at some times coupled with him starting to complain every time he even gets touched by a defender when running.

Saw it during the Superbowl last year. He played sour even when they were mathematically still in it. That INT he threw 2 weeks ago against the Chargers when they were level cost them the game and now this. I haven't seen any tape but I'll take your word for it. He needs an attitude adjustment or they will miss the playoffs and that would knock the gloss off in a major way.

How quickly things can change in the NFL.

Got paid?

Couldn't think of a worse way to part with 500K.

BTC maybe?

We have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL.

That being said I understand why some are letting go of their huge Mahomes cards...looking to diversify never hurts anyone. It's the smart move.

Anyone looking at the schedule? By week 10 they'll most likely be 6-4 at worst and back in the driver's seat for the playoffs. Then after that, the "tough" schedule includes four games against two fake good teams in the Raiders and the Broncos. I see 10-7 at worst for KC this season and most likely 11-6.

Last night screamed of the Bills circling this game as their super bowl while the Chiefs just had it as another game where a team was going to bring out all the stops to beat them. I think both teams make the playoffs and the Chiefs will beat them in the playoffs again rendering this game forgettable for everyone outside of Buffalo.

Let's also not forget the whopping that Tampa took last year against NO which shot them in the arm and took them all the way to a super bowl victory.

Game will be in Buffalo if that happens though. Home field is big.
