I must've dated one of the Topps execs' wives back in the day and got put on some blacklist. I may have pulled off the rare feat of opening the worst box of Finest Flashbacks AND the worst box of Ginter X to be ripped (or at least the worst to be shared on BO):

Now, crappy hits does not a bad box make, but the best base were DeGrom, Bichette, Freeman, Bieber, Miggy?, Lindor?

Here are the highlights from my Ginter X:


I guess I got Soto, Robert and Devers base and a Kiriloff RC but my minis were all pretty bad, no red or anything and no big names (Soroka was probably my favorite mini but I'm a Braves fan) - maybe this has been addressed - the pack odds say glossy base fall 1 every 2 packs but I've looked at my cards under light and see a stack of non-glossy cards.

Now, I did pull a Luis Robert Gold Auto /5 last year so I'm still way out ahead here on Ginter X but the wait and anticipation for both of these made 'em sting for a second.

I have the same ginter x question about the 1 in 2 pack odds for glossy SPs. I can’t tell a difference. Are these just the regular mini sp cards numbers 301-350?

That was my assumption. I opened my box, and that was the only thing that might make sense given the cards I pulled.

I tried like hell to discern the "glossy" from non-glossy and ended up with maybe 4 cards that could have 5% more "shine" than the others.

Jose Canseco auto, Nate Pearson auto. Only numbered card was Starling Marte /50.

Similar story here. 5 non-numbered autos, the best being Bohm. Got the obligatory Darling auto of course. Did get a Bohm negative inverse /25 and a Jahmai Jones Tintype /50, plus a Mountcastle B&W, so not all bad. Cool cards, decent value, love the autos being on card, but a bit of a letdown overall.

Also only got 34 of 50 toward the full set when I had hoped to be a lot closer. The collation is odd in that 2-3 cards near each other in number often stacked together.

I'll get the photos posted and all, I opened 10 boxes of Snapshots. MC Club and Public Sale.

Did alright on color, there really aren't any names on the checklist to blow you away but did his a numbered Bohm auto (/100 negative image black), as well as overall 9 different names (doubled up on Lewin Diaz base), Deivi Garcia negative image /25, Varsho Blue /50. Did get two of the TinType Black and White numbered inserts of Acuna and Kiriloff /50.

Enjoyable to rip something where you can't lose $400 per box

I just ran some prices at what some of the team case breaks sold for on ebay and there was one that came out to $160 per box(not minis, full boxes).
