Default 2021 Tennis Products question

Watched that 18 year old Carlos Alcaraz play and tried to eBay some of his stuff but only a 2021 US Open Pro Net card came up. Looks fishy to me. Anyone know anything about these?

Just a junk print-at-home card for someone capitalizing on the hype.

If Topps was smart and actually did it right, a 2021 Transcendent set would be huge, lots of young budding stars that would be real RCs to be had along with the chase to 21.

Start off with a promo sell-sheet showing a triple Federer/Joker/Nadal auto and a couple of RCs of the emerging stars (Coco, Raducanu, Fernandez, Alcarez, etc.) and it will sell out quick.

Oh, and a Borg/McEnroe dual card please.

What company has the rights to make tennis cards? Would love to see cards with some of the young guys like Medvedev and Tsitsipas… Think there will be a 2022 product?

Topps and Leaf have rights, but nobody has released a good product for awhile. The thought is that since tennis is an individual sport it takes a lot of work to sign players to a deal than let's say the NFL or NHL where there is a union involved and everybody is pretty much in America. It doesn't help that a lot of the player's agents (if they have one) probably don't even speak English too well, if at all. I noticed companies release a lot has-beens, which is probably due to ease of contacting their agents.

Tennis is a toughie for card companies, which is good in that it keeps supply low.

Was thinking the same as they have Osaka and Coco already in this. Maybe they are adding Raducanu after her win!!
