No surprises with the rookies on the back. I opened 52 blasters and a few fat packs and only pulled 6 copies. All were trashed. I ended up just buying a few 10s. At 6% gem rate, I don't see the pop ever getting very high. It's 63/1050 as of this evening.

That's my guess too, that they are in all retail, but I didn't want to say 100% since I've not personally pulled one from a blaster or a mega. But i bet they are in all.

You're right! What's really crazy is 2020 Illusions football retail is sky high. Probably the highest any 2020 football product outsells a 2019-20 basketball product by. I'm not saying it's the greatest product ever but look at the garbage from 2020 football and 2019-20 basketball retail. There is no reason Illusions basketball megas shouldn't be $100 and blasters $60.

Of all the insert sets, Mystique is by far my favorite. Going to complete all the non-numbered sets. Close to finishing the White Gold and Pink sets. If anyone has any (any color) for sale, let me know.

Pinks are in the Canadian blister SKUs. Whites are hobby, and supposedly a case hit. I believe they are the rarest of the non-numbered. Not many to be found anywhere.

I believe the pink mystiques can also be found in the 20-pack retail boxes too (https://www.blowoutcards.com/2019-20...etail-box.html).

Starlights are what got me into this release. I love those damn cards. Still trying to guess the print run. I feel like ~200 is close. I've put nearly 3 complete sets together at this point. I think I need about 17 cards to finish the 3rd set. Here's some pics of the Starlight haul.

The base cards are super tough grades. I sent in 2 zions, 3 Ja, 2 luka, and 2 Lebron long time ago and received my sub back recently. Only two got PSA 10 (two Jas).

In context, this was part of a 100 card bulk order (mostly chronicles) that got a 70 percent gem rate. So these definitely brought my rate down.

Congrats on the two Jas! That's a miracle itself. Rookies are the toughest to get good grades being in the back of the pack. I guess since the fat packs have 3 rookies, you might have better odds getting one in good condition. Regardless, 10s for any of these cards are gonna be a rare feat.

This set is starting to creep up my fav list for 2019 . I got two to share for my player pc with a little added bonus on the #3/10 Rockets jersey number KPJ!

This is interesting to hear. When this product first came out, there were so many posts about what a "trash" product this was, but I'm starting to wonder if most of that sentiment was coming from folks who were more into grade/flip (very condition sensitive) than those looking for PC. For me, the base cards are "OK". I like the parallels. and I love the inserts.

Yes, if there's no profit the product sucks.

If the cards were the ugliest ever and sold well it would be considered a great product.

Condition sensitive will be better for the long run as it will have the lowest base PSA 10 population.

Yep! I mean I get it from the flipper perspective. Why would they care what a product looked like if it sold well. It's just interesting for those of us still in the "collector" realm of the hobby. But honestly, I enjoy finding a product like this that gets disregarded by most. It keeps the price down and allows regular folks like me to chase sets and snag some pretty great looking cards.

Amazing golds! Not sure where the hate comes from. I think the base set and parallels are fantastic looking cards. Too many colors perhaps, but I still enjoy chasing them all.

It actually has very few parallels to all the stuff out there these days.

Wow! Shows how little I follow stuff unless I like it. I'm sitting here thinking Illusions has a ton of parallels and you're telling me its actually limited compared to other releases. That's crazy to think that 15 is limited nowadays.

Starlight 10s have been impossible to come by as well. I've only managed to snag 4 of them.
