The starlight zion rcs is one of my favorite pick ups. Just a stellar card for the cost.

The only print run I feel confident on is the pink base parallel. I THINK they are exclusive to the Canadian 20 pack retail boxes. If so, every time we have opened one of those, we get (2) /49 base parallels and about (9) pink base parallels. Which would make the print run of the pinks to be 9/2*49 = 220. That's really low for an unnumbered base parallel. A quick check of Ebay shows zero pink zion illusion base up for sale right now, which also suggests potential scarcity.

They are also in blister packs.
I have about 9 pinks myself.

Someone a while back on this thread said that the blisters were actually repackaged out of the 20 pack boxes, not by Panini, but by a distributor. Don't know if that is true, but just what i read on here. If the blisters were a unique SKU from panini, I can't imaging that it does more than double the print run of the pinks, which still makes them quite rare.

The blisters were MJH repacks. It was retail box packs (I never saw actual retail boxes anywhere in Canada). MJH did lots of the repack blisters in Canada this past year across all sports and non sports. It was usually broken down Megas like in the case of Optic or retail boxes.

I have 85 of them. With exactly one exception, each was purchased from a Canadian seller.

The color on that looks nice. In fact, asides from the "sapphires" which essentially look black, I like the color of the parallels in this release.

Anyone get any psa subs back for illusions. Sent in a Ja teal /125 and Herro black /99, popped 8 & 9. Cards looked sharped to me. Cleaner than the mosaics I sent in that got 10s.

I've gotten a few back and so far no 10s either (on the paper cards). There's a lot of surface issues with Illusions so 10s are going to be tough. Lots of white spots on the back of most cards.

Resurrecting this thread to see if anyone else enjoyed this product like I did. I know most think it was one of the worst releases ever, but I am still enjoying the hell out of it. I'll update some more later, as I've purchased a stupid amount of singles, but I wanted to show off a Zion I just picked up. Haven't seen anyone mention these in this entire thread....unless I just missed it. Absolutely stunning in hand!

Thanks, man! I hadn't even really seen these. I'm trying to learn more about them. I understand that they were a tmall release, 2 cards per pack, both /8. What I can't confirm is were all the cards lucky envelopes parallels to the base set?

The pack is misleading as it states, "look for lucky envelopes parallels /8," suggesting there are other cards to chase /8.....autos perhaps? If it's only the base parallels, then only 800 packs were made available.

Anyway, I'm thrilled to have the Zion and can't speak highly enough of how it looks in-hand. I posted a short video on IG that shows the card much better if anyone wants to take a look. mgobluematt is my handle.
