So what are the main story lines to watch? Here are a few I thought of on the top of my head

How does Dak hold up
The last 2 Bama QBs going against each other with the first start for Jones.
How does Lawrence look

I’m just glad TJ will be back to harass Allen’s right side all game.

Dak's throwing ability is a big one.

Has Brady lost anything?
How does the KC new Oline hold up against Myles Garrett and Clowney?
Does Urban Meyer know what he's doing?
Can Sam Darnold get revenge?

Mahomes stuff would take a bit of a step back is they got out to a 2-3 start, but nobody would be hitting the panic button and dumping important stuff for fire sale prices.

Allen seems to be near with Lamar was a a year ago at this point.
Completely agree with Brady . Mahomes I honestly dont think a 2-3 or a 5-0 start is going to do much difference in prices . Its all about Championships for him so for his stuff to take a noticeable step back it would be because of an early playoff exit not regular season games . Just take a look at last year they started off what 8-0 and if you bought in mid-late October he was cheaper than at the beginning of the season. Just from previous years once you start playing prices to take a little step back .

Which leads me to I guess my point being ** if its like last year** what 3 maybe 4 QBs prices survived from August on ( Mahomes , Allen, Brady ) I am sure I am missing a few the rest went down considerably. I also think ( once again if its like last year ) there will be a "buy back" period such in late October / November to pick up some of these guys headed into the playoffs. IMO right now is one of the worst times to buy unless its a card that you simply dont see often and its your one shot .

Expectations will be high in Buffalo to perform, especially for the QB.

Russell Wilson was a roller-coaster ride last year.

His stuff started to go through the roof when he had 19 tds through 5 games. There were 5-0.

But the next 11 games he threw 21 tds and they went 7-4. Not bad by any stretch, but he quickly dropped out of the MVP convo.

As for the buying if it's your one shot... that's where the market is headed.

huge W with these picks across the board, but I think Tua gets the best of Mac in his first career start... should be a fun one!

Cheers

Stafford's Rams debut on Sunday night will be a big storyline. Things could escalate quickly with a dominant performance in week 1.

First game of the year and offensive weapons everywhere. I hope it’s a shootout.

Watching Skip and Shannon this morning, they had Michael Vick on. He was asked if Dak could ever be a top 5 QB.

Vick 'Yeah, he's a team leader, but that's a long journey. I can only think of maybe 4-5 guys that I could put in that Top 5 category.'

That's some quality analysis there.

No clue why Vick is on TV doing analysis. But it makes sense he’s on with those two clowns.

Should've started off by first saying "Look I ain't got no dog in this fight, but Dak's not yet a Top 5 quarterback"

Can’t play week 1 but should help their defense. Texans got decent value in return too.

The New Orleans Saints have finalized their trade for cornerback Bradley Roby, sending a 2022 third-round draft pick and a 2023 conditional pick to the Houston Texans, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Sucks for the Ravens.

But I don’t feel bad.

The Ravens lost Justice Hill for the year a few days ago. This is after they lost Dobbins for the year. This is ridiculous. I've never seen anything like this.

Has to be a Raven at this time next week. Unlike Bell, Murray still has some talent and a lot less miles

I'd take Gurley. Plus he's from Baltimore, so he would feel close to home.
