It's not - because that's who Morey wants - if he was offered up at all then it would've been done by now.

With this request by simmons', his value is now even lower. It will take Dame showing up to camp and maybe not being happy with what he sees and then demanding to get out, with Philly being one of his preferred destinations for that to happen... still a small chance it could, but I think it went from maybe 25-30% likelihood to now like 10-15% likelihood.

this is still one of the more likely scenarios I think...

Curry - Hield - Green - Harris - Embiid

bench : Milton - Mitchell - Korkmaz - Thybulle - Drummond

and they probably trade/cut Thompson.

Kings can run Fox - Haliburton - Barnes - simmons - Holmes

...and possibly improve this year with some growth from Fox/Hali

Bagley could also be in play, though after summer league I'd think Morey would push for Mitchell to be included instead

The same chat got thrown around about Harden. And I'm pretty sure he's doing just fine.

Simmons will come out of this in a better situation than Philly that's for sure.

But with Embiid thinking he's such a beast and Doc believing he can coach they should be in the Finals next season amirite? Haha.

Still not happy Ben dogged it on the Aussie team, but if he comes back a better player this season and in a better situation then he's done the right thing for himself.

Literally none of the Blowout faithful would appreciate being thrown under the bus by their boss and leader and want to continue to work in that environment.

It's comical at this point.

Side note, I'm surprised how well his cards have been selling still.

1. Simmons' recent playoffs struggles make Harden look like he never missed a shot in his playoff life.

Harden totally choked in the NBA Finals after being the difference vs the Spurs in 2011.
Harden had a rep of not playing a lick of defense for years.
Then we can go to a guy like LeBron who has dogged it multiple times. And also had a Finals series where he averaged 2pts in the 4th qtr whilst having a "Chosen1" tattoo on his back.

I’m from NJ. Watched Ben Simmons since day 1. Have his cards. Am I hater if I say I expected more of him? He hasn’t grown at all in his game. Same player he was when he came into the league. That’s not hate. That is reality.

Not sure how he’ll be a better fit next to KAT than Embiid either.

But we focus on a play that resulted in a single lost point as the turning point? Leadership pushes through adversity, they don't drum on the negative.

You clearly have a better understanding of the game than most on here. And this is just a well balanced response.

I have no problem with anyone saying Simmons crapped down his leg at the free throw line and had a massive lack of confidence. But people are missing the great things he did that game. The dude is locking down Trae Young and that is impressive.

I'm lucky I got to watch Tim Duncan's full career. Would I ever hear him put a turning point of a game on a mistake with 8 mins to go? Just lol. And poor Timmy missed 2 lay ups down 2 vs the Heat in a game 7.

Embiid is every bit the mental midget people say Simmons is. He's a beast. But he'll probs have the same result next season. Maybe worse.

I think Ben will be just fine.

Look I do love the drama that comes with the Queen. Can't lie. It's a helluva story. Used to love him in his first stint at the Cavs. But he's not my hero. I grew up on David Robinson and then Tim Duncan. Bron aint close to the men that they were/are. But we all have our stories.
