don’t believe it went live. the page loaded around midnight pst last night, it didn’t load up with the rest of the products this morning. not sure if it was just a glitch or if they intend to drop it. outside the mosaic retail box soccer has been 100% in store.

They need to do what panini did and sell some super expensive stickers under the SKU numbers from last time and stick bot users with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of crap they don’t want and not take returns on it.

Botters won’t quit because they are making a ton of money whether it’s from flipping or group breaks. There is always a market because at this point they are the only ones getting product directly and others want it. People already pay a ton for for Prizm blasters even when it’s a almost guaranteed loss…if you raise the msrp it will just raise the secondary prices and people will still pay it.

They need to burn the bot users so they think twice about even using them. But in the long run why would they even care, they get their money as the product is still selling.

Online is dead and the worst way to sell this stuff IMO.

Sell in store and find a way to make it work. Limits, queues, punishments for people trying to circumvent the rules, random stocks, mailing list with IDs on file and household limits and manual approval by an info checker.

There are ways to make this work, but drops online no longer work, but I’m not sure they actually care.

IMO random drop times in store with limits worked best. It at least spread out who got some… if they added a red card exclusive to the in store model that would be a good starting point.

There is actual great opportunity when bots are only ones that hit. Yes, you have to buy off secondary market, but you can get bulk wax relatively cheap bc market is completely in quick flippers hands. This is obviously for those who hold/flip wax not open.

Brawls in store or nerds complaining on a forum? Which would you choose if you were target?

Obviously not, though, because people are paying it on the secondary market.

Walmart in Canada has them for $50 cdn (approx $40 US).

The problem is the store doesn’t want that and excell doesn’t want that. The reps Ive talked to much prefer how it is now, as do the store employees. Only people who aren’t hitting online want it.

There are some things Target could do to level the online playing field but right now they seem content to make some token effort, which in reality only catches manual users, and sell out all the product in seconds each week.

we have come to a point where there are only a handful of desirable products. prizm/select/optic is all anyone really wants. the other stuff sits and even the average joe who’s not getting prizm/select/optic doesn’t want it.

I don't see why they can't look at the time stamp the product went live and then go through and auto cancel any orders placed before that time or within, say, 2 seconds of it going live.

no one can order til it’s live. the problem is they have a few second lag from “live” to atc button turning red. couldn’t really pinpoint the exact timing, and we are talking about less than 5 seconds typically.

Its showing that all the "leave some for the kids" talk is pretty much BS or those other products would be gone too....

I just wish I could find a few at cost to open myself not to flip lmao

Greed is a powerful sin that's for sure

Without cheap PSA grading no one wants anything for the most part.

Okay, I was under the impression from reading on twitter that they were getting more of a head start than that.

Well, hopefully they go to the in-store pickup method. They tested it last week so I'm hoping they move forward with it. If they shipped estimated quantities to individual stores and then made that quantity available for local pickup, that would work a lot better.

there have been a few occasions where it was more like 20 seconds but typically it’s less. today manually i never saw the select mega button go red.

if they were interested in doing more work for the same result there are options, but no one wants to deal with it in the store and it’s selling out online…i think you’ll continue to get more product in store, but doubt you see prizm/optic/select in store anytime soon.

Holds especially true for the LCS community. A while back someone posted here cardcollector2 publicly shouting out GFNF. Great quickflip system if you have that storefront on top. But it is somewhat bold to just let your customer base know that indirectly, they are unable to buy from Target because I, your LCS, contribute to creating a seamless selling process for the bot groups. Weird thing to shoutout

Going to work for the next few years...but once Fanatics brings in the buy direct from us for this price that way of thinking wont work anymore. A lot of LCS's will take a hit due to this.
