Had Brady been a top ten or first round pick instead of going in the sixth round, what additional sets/subsets might he have been featured in, in 2000, that he otherwise wasn't?

Further, with inclusion in those potential additonal sets, would his Contenders still come out on top as the cream of the crop?

Well, he certainly would have been included in the Topps set. That said, there's 147 different Brady rookies as it is. Can't imagine adding more on top of that.

What’s even crazier I think there around 7/8 rookies in his pro uniform! Since these are the more desirable over college, practice and sweatpants cards expect to see huge price gains in years to come for the pro uniform rookies.

Its why I like the Contenders rookie over the SP Authentic....Don't get me wrong, I would love to have it...But his Contenders is a great picture imo!

2000 Topps/Topps Chrome would probably be the biggest one he would be added to.

Some others of note:

Finest
Gold Label
Bowman Best
Stadium Club
Gallery
Season Opener

Notice a trend? Basically a good chunk of Topps products. Brady was in a ton of sets for a 6th round QB back in 2000 to be honest, more than I thought he would be in.

Everyone can thank 1999 Kurt Warner for that.

So, I know this isn't a Brady rookie but I thought this might be amusing to you all in here. Was going through my old photobucket (pre 2007) before they deleted my stuff and got slapped with the memory of this. Pulled myself out of 2005 Leaf Limited back in 05.

Sold in March of 2006 for:

I'd try to defend it by saying I was just 18 and broke as a joke at the time and 300+ for a card was legit money back then...but still

Would it make you feel better a user here traded a Contenders auto graded(I forget what grade) for a Jared Goff Gold vinyl auto?

Be lucky to get a PSA 6 on that card these days.

Wonder what a PSA 10 would get.

Doesn't appear that I did. Looks like I did sell a 2006 Heritage black chrome refractor for under a hundred bucks. PSA 9 recently sold for $1700.

A really nice Brady/Moss dual auto on eBay at the moment. Love the card, but it appears to be shilled pretty badly. Unfortunate since I really love the card.

A PSA 7 Playoff Contenders sold at auction on Ebay for over $46,000 yesterday. I think that is higher than PSA 7s were going after the Super Bowl.

Also, according to 130point, a BGS 9/10 best offer went for an even $100,000.

Guess prices are spiking with the season about to start.

His contenders got too cheap a few months after the SB. I was #2 in line on the 7 last night. Just couldn’t justify anymore for it without the auto grade

A 7 with a 10 auto trades privately for around $55 allegedly a few days ago

How much does a non-10 auto (eg, 8 or 9) generally impact the price of the PC?

Does anyone know what happened to that BGS 7.5 Champ Tix that was over at Goldin? It was still active the last time I saw it a couple of days ago, but now it looks like it's gone. The one at Leland's is still there though.

OK, I guess there's something wrong with the URL I bookmarked. Weird.
