LCS's will be the next to go.

Fanatics has everything in place to be the one stop shop. They have retail stores, they have online distribution models.

Its going to be the Walmart of trading cards.
They will get their product directly from Fanatics. Breakers have helped drive the current boom. Fanatics doesn’t want to kill it, they just want to cut out the middle man and take the margins for themselves.

Alienating a major client base is not a good start.

You say "blindly follow", others may say "brand loyalty".

I guarantee you Fanatics prices are anything but reasonable. For customers or distributors/shops

Fanatics has become the Walmart for anything sports related.

You come across as a chode. Not really doing Fanatics any favors.

They'll just buy from Fanatics. Fanatics will have no problem supplying breakers with all of the product they need

Whoever is buying a Highland Mint Field of Dreams Bronze coin for $29.99 on Fanatics we all thank you for the crap that the sports cards collectors will be getting.

Does this help or hurt the value of Topps cards you think?

I love the hate from people who don’t understand the behind the scenes work into procuring things like this - it’s not the 80s anymore - not only are the unions more demanding but athletes also are way more concerned with image than ever before and that comes at a premium more often than not.
Keep it coming though!

The biggest reason I think everyone will be skeptical is because a new company with no care for tradition in the industry is very likely to follow the Panini model and make a billion disco prizm elephant spider parallels and run the presses like crazy. Especially to satisfy the much increased price they are paying for the license.

I also may or may not work at Fanatics. Based on what I know…the products will look like shiny futuristic garbage.

By procurement you mean just throwing the most money on the table?

I hope this is true and we can all eat crow. Combine that with reasonable pricing and easier to get fresh wax and it could be a home run.

Same thing Topps has done and Upper Deck has done.

I will personally be ok with that, as it won’t affect my paycheck in any way. And yes, the janitor at fanatics made up a story about being employed there.

But more importantly - you’re the type of person that looks down on people who don’t rank higher than executive and that says a lot - the service industry gets dumped on entirely too much, you flip off your garbage man too?
