Bummer he didn't get a card as a Cub. We went 11 months between Cubs...that is tragic. Now that roster isn't really worthy of a current player getting a card...they better figure out some old school Cubs to do...like Shawon Dunston.

Similarly, this is why -- despite their less-than-impressive current performance -- I'd love to see Wade Davis, Greg Holland & Jarrod Dyson get cards now that they're back with the Royals. They were all so important to the 2014 AL Pennant winners/2015 World Series champions, and it just seems appropriate that they be represented in this set with a KC on their caps.

I certainly agree with the sentiment. Take advantage while they have the opportunity, or wait until they retire and you can release them with the team they're most associated with. Even as a Cubs fan, I didn't like the Pujols Angel card as nearly every fan associates him with the Cards, as they should.

Part of the reason I love the fine art prints are for the covered up sections...the bling will show up nicely on the art prints (granted, based on how Topps release them, we might be able to purchase these late next year)...Bregman and Kershaw had beautiful sleeve patches displayed on their fine art prints that were covered up on the card.

Where do you guys place the value of the Living Set as of 8/15 (1-440 plus the 4 checklists)? Assuming ungraded but generally new/mint condition

I have one full raw set so I might be biased, but the value must be at least $444!

At $5 per average card, it'd be around $2200, and $4400 at $10 per card.
The reasonable buy/sell price for the complete set to date is likely somewhere in that range. Every year the set goes on adds a bit to the value of previous years' cards, in my view. If this set goes another decade, the earliest issues will certainly be more sought after.

Were someone selling the whole lot though, I'm sure it'd be best to sell the better cards as singles and the leftovers in bulk to get some value without having to do a ton of work.

The problem is that a lot of cards aren't even worth $5 any more.

Players have switched teams....players are out of the majors...lots of things have severely decreased the value of many cards.

For example, my team (the Giants) has two cards of players who are no longer with the team (Panik & Sandoval), and one card of a player who is in the minors with a different franchise (Dereck Rodriguez).

The team of the city I live in (the Mariners) also has three cards of players who are no longer with the team (Segura, Healy, Beckham).

The value of cards like those is probably more like $1, not $5+.....

I received an order from Wheeler just before I left for vacation last week, and finally had the chance to go through it today. I had really good luck with the signed Living Set cards, receiving the following in my latest order.

Max Muncy, Blue - IX, 1/10
Max Muncy, Box Art, 1/1
Adam Wainwright, Black, 3/50
Bobby Dalbec, Silver, 1/25

These continue to be my favorite set, and Jared's artist autos are such a cool "subset" to collect. These are my first two non-black autos, and the blue auto makes me want to track down the rest for that 1/1 box art commission. Keep up the great work, Jared!

Yeah but there are also some cards you could never get for $5 or even $10- Markakis, Castellanos, Judge, Ohtani, Aguilar, etc. It’s tough to find comps because the set keeps growing and sets on the market have different #s of cards.
