Two boxes of Ginter…shorted boxtopper and hit!

The first box of Ginter was one of the strangest things I’ve ever opened, only two hits, no topper and about 2-3 super thick booklet like packs that were just filled with like 15 base cards and 2 minis. I took a picture and posted on the bottom of this thread of the stack of cards that came out of one of those thick packs. The only saving grace was the first hit I pulled was the Mythical Fairy Relic /25 which I know are big pulls. Also pulled the Gimenez auto from that box.

Second box had a Juan Soto Boxloader and relics of Hader and Devers and a framed autograph of Clarke Schmidt. If anyone needs any minis or base or any of these cards let me know but I’m going to try to see if Topps can help with the missing boxloader and only two hits from the first box as having both missing in the same box is kind of crazy.

Yeah… what are these? There’s nothing explaining where they’re from. They could be from literally anything

I pulled a Robin Hood’s bow relic a few years ago. Didn’t think much of it. It was just a plain piece of wood.

That fairy relic sells for $200, so basically more than most of the napkin, I mean relic checklist.

"This relic is not from anything at all" is what the back of the card says. It's them having a little fun where the liner about a relic not being from any specific game or event would go.

This is correct. I just pulled the Goblin Mythical Relic #1/25 and in fine print below the congratulations scroll, it has the exact saying.

Just a gimmick card, by my goodness they sell for a lot

I had a similar situation where I was shorted a relic and got a pack with 15 cards in the same box. Can't wait to get a Josh Donaldson bat relic as a replacement

But that's what A&G is about. It's a baseball set that isn't about baseball. It's one of the few that hasn't completely sold out to the breakers/flippers. Hopefully it stays being a set builder's set.
