Well then just Panini cellos then.

They’ll be more in demand anyway. I guess if it doesn’t go well, they have a plan B.

well that makes zero sense because nothing ever sits on the shelves to give them visibility

They still do it for soccer cards, just less of them. The race to every drop is with us now

They are just figuring out how to make enough money on it to make the “madness” worth it.

Oh yeah, I'm am so sure that everything will go well. What could possibly happen??

They should just eliminate online all together.

drop it from the sky and have everyone fight for it.

That would be hysterical... kinda of like when people fight each other for a baseball that has gone into the stands.

Lot more common folk getting cards these days thanks to Target online than when Target had in stores.

If they do in store they should still do it online purchase for in store pickup.

That'll never happen. Impossible to guarantee in stocks on vendor stocked product.

I am perfectly fine with how online is going right now. Nice to be able to count on decent product each week without having to bother with shopping in-store.

yep. i’m fairly certain if anything goes back in store it will continue to be random day vendor stock not announce to the world a day and time to come get a box to flip. I don’t mind getting up early a couple mornings a week for a good shot at the best product. In store requires a lot more time and effort.

Realistically none of us care if it’s in store or online we just want the one that gives us the best chance at product. I get less product now than I did when it was in store, but it takes me a fraction of the time to get it now.

Yep, absolutely man. The time factor is a huge element. Nice to not have to worry about wasting time and gas not knowing if you'll have any luck at all. Very easy for me to log in from the comfort of my own home and not deal with all the in-store drama. Worth it even if I have to wake up an extra hour early for a few days a week.

It’s definitely not going back to the Friday morning camp-outs. The vendor said that when Target decided to handle it himself it got much worse for them. Based on what he said they are going to try and go back to the random stockings starting with low value ($10 and less) products. He said too that they have been told if people start camping out or bothering them they can just take all the product to the back and leave.

I think you have mentioned this 10x in my casual reading of the boards. We get you like to lurk in targets. Also, how you hate all product except prizm/chrome when actual collectors like to get some stuff at msrp. Makes sense with your 2020 join date.

You like to mention that you have a "smokeshow wife" on a baseball card message board. Weird flex.

Tupac would be ashamed that you are using his name.

Grabbed a couple Merlin Blasters and repack hangers. The cashier stated only 1 item per UPC and 2 items total. When I had my son do a separate transaction, she stated that he had to live in a different household. He actually does with his mom. I get it if he was only 8 years old but he's 16. Kinda silly on that aspect of it. I mean, how could they prove it? Will they require government issues ID's soon? I'm all for how they manage it but that last part is silly.

It’s a fine line. there is a guy around here who brings his wife his kid that is probably 8 and a kid that is like 2 and he insist everyone gets a limit lol.

Was the second pack for you or for your son?

Amen.

I give Target a LOT of credit for making online very attainable. I've had a number of good weeks consecutively, and have enjoyed getting lots of product. Everything I do is manual - it's also a fun "rush" when stuff gets loaded, etc.

The red card exclusive was very clutch from Target.

A smokeshow wife? lol I don’t even know what that means - don’t lie. Ive never mentioned my wife on these boards, clown.

The only thing that’s weird is your infatuation with me. It’s Friday night. You obviously aren’t enjoying your life if my comment, not directed at you or anybody for that matter, got you so riled up you did your best at trying to throw some lil weak shots.

Oh you’ve convinced yourself your special because you joined a message board before other people?

Always the weirdos that want to act tough behind their computer screen. Wouldn’t say a word in person though.

the people who make this thread a cesspool on the mornings target stock blow my mind. i hit something every single week on target, and i’ve literally never hit even one time on walmart .com due to the bots. the entitlement is nuts.

Bots are close to cracking the red card shield though as they have just got a bunch of red cards over the past month. Target can’t rely on just red card exclusive, they’ll need to continue to advance anti bot defense.

This was a weird week with them throwing select football and bowman megas up kind of randomly. i can tell you the bot bois are shook thinking they were testing new anti bot software ahead of next weeks select basketball drop. It makes sense if that’s what they were doing because they didn’t have anything current that would draw the kind of traffic they would want to test against.

I hope it doesn’t go too far though, they actually locked me out of my account for a good 3-5 minutes where i couldn’t log in and couldn’t reset my password Thursday. It also seemed like most of the products weren’t showing up in search so you had to have them in favorites or in purchase history if you didn’t have a direct link.

Weird week all around, and first week i didn’t buy anything in a long time. I hit 15 merlins in store though so I didn’t go dry lol.

Calm down tough guy. You know many flippers and collectors carry now, right?
