Very low assessment of the card. Authentic can mean but not always altered/trimmed per PSA guidelines so yeah that card has some serious doubt behind it in what has been done to it very storing number I think. Many different levels for collectors I’m sure the buyer is very pleased owning the card.

Yeah. Not sure why so many submitters opted to go with the AUTH designation over a lesser grade. Unless PSA/BGS/SGC/etc. flat out told me the card was trimmed, I'll take a 5, 6, or whatever over number grade over AUTH.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe PSA will slab a min size required that has an auto with authentic/auto grade.

I dont believe Ive ever seen an example like that.

Ive been under the impression for a while that when there isn't a numerical grade, and only an auto grade, there is something either wrong (trimmed) or it didnt meet min size req. I don't ever remember seeing the actual designation on the the flip/label.

If I'm wrong, I would love to see an example.

Sorry, didn’t mean that. What you posted is what I meant. Authentic + auto grade can mean min size or altered.

Did they stop applying numerical grades to these? Or just champ tickets?

His contenders autos in any grade that you can afford are a good buy right now. I am buying as many as I can get my hands on reasonably.

I think long term a Auth/8-9 at $18k is going to be a steal. The high graded stuff will be locked up in collections. There really aren't even many of those available in PSA cases with the auto grade IMO. The Auth/8 sell that was referenced was on Goldin and def wasn't trimmed, card was just beat up

Just looked at the video...he said there was a small nick on the card...I zoomed in the top left and can see it...pretty rough left edge as well...only under magnification...don't get me wrong it's a beautiful card....I am jealous but would a nick bring it to a 9?

Looks like the rest of the card is sharp enough that it doesn’t matter.
