If you are at the National take those to the wild card booth. The Wild Card guys have been absolutely amazing.

I got my box. Retail dump galore. I don't do much baseball. What boxes are worth holding on to? Which ones are worth selling sealed now?

So you deserved what? $600, $700, $800 or $1000 in value?

It looks like they gave a guy a butter knife to cut 'em with and it took 3 tries.

Well at least we know that the best boxes weren’t saved for the show. Some of these are gross.

I think the Matte packs are from these. No mention of Autos in these packs:

Thanks...I'm not, I have a friend that is though, I'll send him some pics, see if he'll swing by there tomorrow, if not I'll contact them via twitter or something.

My brother purchased three boxes and they are as follows:

As many of you stated, value for money was very poor - lots of retail fodder. We opened all of it and unfortunately did not pull anything valuable. Best card was probably a Tyrese Maxey Silver Prizm. Good luck with yours.

If you didn't go into this realizing that this is a way for BO to make money, and dump unwanted/overstocked product then that's on you.

I'm going respectfully disagree here. Houdini does mystery boxes - Value is always there - cause he's a solid, reputable guy. I have even done the blind $1000 Houdini mystery box - and it was fantastic. Why would I go blind for 1k? Because it's Houdini. I trust him and his brand. He has always delivered.
Yes - he made money - but I felt I got great value for what I spent - as did everyone else as far as I know.
My lcs does repack products - and they also have been solid. Never a bunch of retail junk. I trust them as well.
Blowout, imo - has that same reputation. They are fair, and usually deliver for their customers. I think with these - they have hurt that rep.
BO always makes money -- they run a a business - but again - imo they could have done more to deliver wins for the customer on this too.
My 2 cents. I'm not mad at them. I know the risks of a repack. But will I buy one from them again? No.
Would I buy one from Houdini or my lcs again - Yes.

I'm not sure about the Panini box, but I would keep the two Topps boxes sealed. The 2014 is the real winner as it has the rookie cards of what will most likely be two first ballot hall of famers, Mookie Betts and Jacob DeGrom.

Wonder if they will drop the price point Sunday to help sales or just bring them back and sell them online

I completely agree some do it better than others, but even with Houdini you will see people grumbling about the value they got. I have participated in his mystery boxes myself, so I share your view of the quality of his offerings. But Houdini is not Blowout--he does these boxes in small batches and is using it as a way to build his brand. It's an advertisement for his breaks, not intended to move old inventory. At least that's my assumption based on the quality of stuff he includes.

At the end of the day, as the other poster mentioned, the purpose of this type of product is to make money off old inventory. The proof will be in the pudding as to whether they sell out the next offering or not, but I believe they will sell out again. Average value is there along with the possibility of a home run. People will buy and they know this, even if they don't get your money in the future.
