Tell me , and everyone else in the world, something that we don't know. But you felt the need to come to a thread that is 99% Yankee fans and post it.

Montgomery was watching with anticipation of a big inning
Something rare that the Yankees provide him with

DJ lead off double followed by a Judge single
Runners on the corners and Sanchez strikes out on a ball in the dirt
Stanton amazingly walks to load em up only to have Torres hit into a DP

This is pathetic

First game I've been able to sit down and watch since the All-Star break and I'm already triggered.

And the ineptitude continues…..
1 out double by Urshella to third on a wild pitch……

Followed by Lemarre & Allen strike outs….

Another inning like this and it’s off to watch reruns of Big Bang with my granddaughter

I thought the Yankees only ruin players now; not fix them.

And Melky roided to get his big payday.

Remember how silent Red Sox fans were when they came in last place in the Division 4 times in the 2000s. The last time the Yankees did that was back in 1991.

After last night's game, the Yankees traded Luis Cessa and Justin Wilson to the Reds for a player to be named later.

Sometimes it’s best to burn it to the ground so you can rebuild and reach the pinnacle. Better than settling for mediocrity and underachieving year after year.

I'm perplexed why Red Sox fans care about this thread/feel the need to comment? We are well aware our team sucks. When randoms come in to say "lol you choked!" - why does one think that hurts our feelings? As if like WE were the ones on the field and didn't get it done. At the end of the day Yankees win or lose, you me all of us, still get up the next day and have to go to work. If you haven't realized yet that your team winning\losing really has zero effect on your actual life, then you still care too much or are still too young to realize it.

Its not exactly a science and you're not Yoda. No one expected Boston to be this good now. Or the Yankees this bad.

And sometimes things don't add up. Tampa has 10 pitchers on the IL, lose 2 decent starters, and still roll.

And making the playoffs every year isnt "mediocrity"

The championships have not been there but this is the first train wreck of a year in a long while.

Sorry Guy...just commenting on the comment Choo-Choo Tritty made. Didn't mean to ruffle panties.

I wasn't talking about NYY, I was talking sports in general. Apologies for the confusion.

You clearly missed my point, my panties are perfectly fine, there is nothing you can say that is going to make me upset. Win lose tie I have to wake up and go to my job the next day. I don't get why you as a Sox fan would be spending time in the Yankee thread. Or why (Not you, the other fella) thinks yelling we choked is an insult at us. We did not, the team did.

Shall I point you to the Red Sox thread where it is littered with Yankee fan trolls (and Spuds who is the coolest Yankee fan around) where you can scold them too?

Meh, it's just a game and friendly banter...nothing to get worked up over.

It was a rainout last night, so clearly some of my BoSox fan brethren are antsy to have something (anything) to discuss

Hopefully with today’s double header we’ll have fewer intrusions starting this afternoon
