I’d pick the action easily. Although heritage has certainly been waning a bit recently if they continue to produce it in a relatively unchanged format I wouldn’t be surprised to see a resurgence at some point.
Remember, two years ago it was ALL about paper parallels with chrome almost an afterthought and look where we are now.
Plus it’s a great looking photo and a condition sensitive card.

I second!

Psa 10s are a poor value… psa 9 are more likely to have future benefit around the grade itself

Sorry I don’t subscribe to this theory with cards with low PSA 10 populations.

People choose to pay 2-2.5x for a gold #/50 vs. a blue #/150 because of rarity… if a PSA10 is similarly more rare than a PSA9 in the total print run, how would the price ratio settle at anything different???

Hard disagree. I don't buy 10s but I've seen the 10 premium shooting much higher in the Ohtani market. I think that's partly a product of newer people to the hobby or people coming over from basketball wanting a 10 when they don't really know what they're buying. Especially so in the 5k+ market. 10s also seem to be harder to get now.

Obviously this varies from card to card and I think there is usually a more optimal ways to get ROI than buying a 10 vs the same amount of money in raw cards but I do think the 10 premium is more likely to get higher than lower from here on low 10 pop cards and high end
