After seeing the schedule, I think 13-4, 14-3 should be expected/the goal. This team is certainly capable of going 15-2/16-1 but to expect that would be a lot. Their O/U of 11.5 wins I would hammer because I’d be shocked if they finished 11-6 or worse.

This is how I break it down

I think they go
3-1 against the AFC East. A loss to either the bills or Dolphins
5-1 in the division. Most likely a road loss to the Saints
4-0 against the NFC East. I think this division is still really bad and the Bucs should be the favorite in every single one of these games.
2-1 against the Combo of Colts/Bears/Rams. Most likely at Rams with the looming Patriots game the next week. Tough emotional look ahead spot

Sure I could see them easily dropping a game to say Washington (Fitz Magic) or a road divisional game say if they get into a shootout with Atlanta. Maybe Dallas will be tough but with that being Dak’s first game back I think it’s an excellent spot to draw Dallas. Maybe the Colts, they’re always tough

But overall this schedule sets up extremely favorably for the Bucs. A good bye week smack dab in the middle, no crazy long road trips, etc

I could see the bears defense being an issue in the playoffs but rodgers will beat himself. I think the chiefs will take a step back. Health of brady and gronk are the keys here and you never know a team like arizona could emerge. This is a lot like the early 80s when the 70s dynasties like the steelers and cowboys collapsed and early aughts after kelly/young/aikman/favre/marino retired. anything is really possible.
Well I mean obviously the health of Brady is the key, if he gets hurt obviously this team is in trouble.

For basically any team, the health of their QB is what matters the most. Very few if any teams could lose their QB and not feel a massive effect. The only teams that wouldn’t would be a team like Detroit, who’s going to be awful with or without Goff lol

I pretty much agree with MOST of this.

My thoughts:
1. They should be favored in pretty much every game this year, Even the Rams game on the road.
2. That Skins game will be very tough on the road. I think vegas has them at 8 wins. That seems crazy to me.
3. The schedule is very favorable except for short week thursday night game on the road in philly
4. I have a weird feeling they might get some pressure from Carolina--but only IF Darnold plays well. (big if)
5. That colts game could be sneaky tough if Wentz recaptures his mojo under Frank Reich

and the BIGGIE: INJURIES.

For sure all good points

And yeah the last point is obviously the most important, but because that’s not something they can be projected, when projecting forward I usually just ignore the injury potential because if you try to factor in “potential injuries” you’re down a worm hole

I’m sure the Bucs fan don’t want to see Rodgers head over to the 49ers.
I don’t think Rodgers leaves GB.... But if he did my goodness!

The 49ers wouldn’t trade for Rodgers unless the Packers wanted very little return. The 49ers don’t really have any assets the Packers would want. Their first round picks aren’t as valuable because San Fran is going to be a good team

Completely agree, no way Rodgers leave GB. Unless he retires.

Just too complicated

YES.

I'm actually feeling very good about Brady this year. I expect the same numbers from him or even better.

After injuries, The biggest thing that could derail this team is complacency, but I don't see that happening with the GOAT.

Sure changed in 2019 and the beginning of 2020.

@CarmieV
TE Tanner Hudson said the culture change that led to a Super Bowl championship in Tampa Bay started when BA arrived.

The biggest thing BA stressed was that 'Bucs don't beat Bucs' and the team took that to heart.

You know the best part of the Bucs winning the super bowl was that puppies were saved from being kicked. We miss you playa!

@RapSheet
#Bucs QB Tom Brady’s injury was actually more serious than that. It was a fully torn MCL, sources say, that required surgery following the Super Bowl win.

Even more impressive considering how easily he was able to pick apart Kansas City's defense like a loaf of monkey bread

According to Rick Shroud he initially tore it when he was still on the Patriots.
