A performance like that could definitely be a turning point for the entire season.

This could have went so many different ways.

1- The way it ended and we as Yankees fans are happy.

2 - Leave Cole in and the Astros win, second guesses all around.

3-Bring Cessa in and he pitches great and gets the save now who is the closer.

4 - Cessa blows the game more second guessing.

5- Chapman comes in and saves the game, do they still trust him for other games.

6- Chapman comes in and loses the game, team morale is shot and now Chapman is lost for even more time.

Out of those options sticking with Cole was the safest way to go.
