Mercari.com it was mentioned a few times in the thread. And even though the OP's pic is only one of them, those dots mean there's more pictures. Pretty standard with most sites. I don't use the site, but I was able to locate it using only information from the thread. Also learned that the seller doesn't get paid until item is received

I'm not making an opinion on whether it's real or not. But the seller is selling hundreds of cards and even states in this one that it's damaged. I guess I don't know the going rate for a raw, damaged diamond Trout update.

slab? really?

More fakes in slabs these days than ever, PSA is awful at catching altered cards and they slab fakes often enough.

Just read any of the 29719305749257 threads on here about slabs...

Not sure how bad the damage is, I haven't looked at the pics, but PSA 8s sold for $3700 and $3050 in the last month.

That's the card. The fact that he knows enough to take the corner pics suggests he knows cards, or at least the grading process. Maybe he's smarter than us and thought nobody would suspect someone would sell a damaged reprint. I also would expect ebay prices on a lesser known buying/selling app.

Those Diamond Anniversary cardes are beautiful in hand. I always thought of mercari as just a step up from Craigslist.. full of fakes. This proves steals can be had anywhere!

I’ve gotten some crazy good deals from Mercari the last couple of years. Most notably my 1999 Scott Rolen PMG which was amazingly listed on there.

i use mercari quite a bit because of ebay's bogus return policy and there are certainely steals on there. it's really an online garage sale essentially. still kicking myself over a 2019 heritage acuna/soto dual auto i skimmed over for a few hundred.

Lots of counterfeits on Mercari especially regarding cards, but I've had some nice memorabilia/vintage programs/tickets pop up on there from time to time. Just have to be lucky and not expect to find anything specific.

I bought some 1971 World Series tickets from one guy awhile back and he included a 1956 Topps Ted Williams just because I was from Boston. That was an unexpectedly great bonus.

It’s not an 8. Maybe a 5

The base Trout update PSA 6 and 7's look like they sell for between $600 and $700.

So maybe a good deal, but nowhere near steal of the century?
