Not a bad 4-pack. PRs 2K+ across the board this week Ermsy over 10K easy, right?

I had to be one of the first ones in on the 4-pack (it was up before anything else for a few minutes). Testing the foil to early 4-pack theory... (though it's going to be a tougher set than usual to try and get a foil)

Well, I'm getting one with my Wheeler Ermsy set, so no big shakes missing out. I also am encouraged by the interest in the cards today. Bodes well for the set considering all are repeat players, besides the Rodriguez.

The Ermsy Trout is cool; I'm not into GPK at all and hate repeating players, especially from Project 2020 artists, but again it's colorful and a good companion to the first Ermsy Trout.

I preferred Keith Shore's take on the Polar Bear. If I really want this card it will be $10 in no time.

The Ichiro is elegant, and boring. Yes you have to get up close to actually see him. I like the Olympic rings of baseballs, but still a pass.

I like the Rodriguez and the Division Champs t-shirt is a nice touch. It's a welcome addition to my Sean Wotherspoon set.

I didn't get the Henderson by Toy Tokyo, so 5/16 on the week.

Since there are always 70 foils, I try to predict the expected print run and then divide that by 70 to anticipate where the first foil will be inserted.

After that it is a matter of guessing how quickly people are ordering and in what quantities.

Sometimes it makes sense to wait 10 minutes, other times 10 hours.

Solefly Ichiro: Umm, Ichiro has never been on the Japanese Olympic baseball rosters.

Ermsy Trout 2: If youre going to repeat yourself, go big I guess.

Pardee Alonso: Solid card and probably as good of timing to release an Alonso as he is going to get. Solid answer card to Shores Alonso which has the rest the of the Polar Bear suit.

Wotherspoon Pudge: Celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the 1998 Division Title! (lol) Better than his last few cards imo, plus a new player added to the roster and a second Rangers card. Not gunna fly off the shelves but I suppose may end up in a handful of 4packs.

I did my own 4 pack, really wish topps would make it pick any for. I did get another Trout just for the lottery ticket for a foil or companion, but I'm sure Phil will get the gold, the foil, and the companion.

Think I might gamble on the Trout in hope of a foil or chase and get a 5 pack. Slim chances of either, but really liking it. Sticking with buying direct from Topps for now. This might be the end of my Pardee run, like the Alonso less and less. Might try picking one up in a few weeks once they are in hand.

exactly. His polar bear is too expected. Pardee needs to get much darker and sinister like his Acuna card while still having that cheekiness.

I don't think there is any truth to when you order as to getting a foil. I usually order all of mine on the last day they are available and many of the foils I received were of cards that I only ordered one of.

Leave it to good old Ermsy to give p2021 a shot in the arm.

People are chasing foils and companions for sure, but it is a great card and I hope other artists pull from Topps licenses to make some stellar cards as p2021 is 1/3 of the way through.
