Is this common knowledge? I've always considered Edmunds to be overrated OF. If he just got in position or better jumps he wouldn't have to dive so much but most people I run into think he was one of the best. Refreshing to see there's a few more of us out there that agree.

I have no idea what advanced data shows so my eyes may have been wrong on Edumnds. In any case, hopefully Tatis can get some stuff ironed out.

Expecting a big night tonight from Tatis! In a short sample size(5 Career AB’s) against SP Erick Fedde, Tatis is 4 for 5 with a HR. Padres need to start winning series from this point on if they want to win the tough NL West division.

People seem to forget, HE'S STILL JUST 22 YEARS OLD! He's not a finished product. Sometimes I laugh at the lack of perspective in regards to young players in sports.

Not to mention playing through shoulder issues, he's got plenty of time to clean up his defensive issues. Last year shows he can do it when healthy and focused and clearly he's capable of plays most players aren't. There's still a ton of upside in the field.

He’s playing though a shoulder injury. Last year I truly believe he should’ve won the Gold Glove. 1 less error and it was probably his.

Agree, his talent and work ethic will take care of itself, what he is doing considering missed games and injuries is very impressive.

It's a running joke. The owner apparently turned down $2 million and $2.5 million at the Philadelphia show last month. Anytime he does something good, the value goes up in my mind and the guy will not sell.
