Might have to look into slabbing mine. I bought a 10 card lot upon release for $30, cherry picked the 5 best and sold the other 5 for my initial investment. Crazy that it is selling for $200-300 raw.

Very much so. I have 6 that I sent to CSG on a hunch.
1 BC batting
2 Finest batting
2 TC Updates
1 refractor silver pack

Sure they are months away, but at least will have some graded stuff in hand. Have 70 more various rc’s of him. Hope the metallics pick up steam. Have 3

Just curious:
Why CSG, and not SGC?

I have a bunch of low end RC's that I have been thinking about sending to CSG/SGC/HGA as well, I've only used PSA in the past so I have to do some research into those other ones. Would be nice to get them slabbed by anyone at this point

I dislike the cases and my test submission of five cards did not fare well. They are fast, but ROI is not good. Might not matter with a player like ohtani, but just me. Only way I would send to them is if the card sold for a price that far exceeded the express cost of PSA. I could change my mind however to flip. I am noticing the SGC batting versions are doing well.

I believe it’s 37 held by Reggie Jackson and Chris Davis.

I'm still buying, mostly lower-end stuff but I have no doubt today prices can still look cheap down the road...cards I bought a month ago for $100 seemed crazy then and now they're $200. If he stays healthy and keeps producing the sky's the limit IMO.

If he keeps producing throughout the year and continue to be an MVP candidate his prices will carry into next season. If he puts on a show at the all star game, low end prices will go crazy. Most will be priced out of the higher end stuff. Think Luka in the bubble!!!

Wow his confidence is sky high, the mental aspect of getting over TJ surgery is gone. I wonder how much if any stress is put on that ligament in your lead - right arm for a lefty swing. What a Talent and the Angels did not sign him to a long term contract ??

It's close to zero. He was DH'ing all of 2019 despite not being allowed to throw a pitch due to TJ recovery

Raw Sapphire at 1400 with a day left. That just might eclipse Acuna sapphire pricing(a 9 is currently 3k). Nuts

Frankly, we are watching a once-a-century talent just entering his physical prime put together the greatest individual season in baseball history. Everything is arguably still very undervalued.

I would also say zero for TJ. I had it, threw righty and batted lefty and had no problems and was told it was not an issue.

It’s shoulder problems that you would have to worry about from the swing, but probably not from him considering he holds the bat with two hands the whole way through.

Glad I picked up a bunch from COMC last week. Everyone finally jacked their prices up today. I'm sure people forgot until they started getting sold notices.

I noticed last night I sold none of the Ohtani Updates I opened from the 60 or so fat packs I opened a couple years ago. Thought I sold them along with the Sotos and Acunas. I must have got busy and forgot to list them along with all the other RCs I have in a big box.
