Yup he's got a bigger future than the BO members give him credit for, glad he's out of Tampa Bay and kicking butt with the brew crew.

He was on the Chris Rose Rotation podcast recently since the trade and he has a great attitude and has the personality of a guy you can root for. Glad he’s finding success in Milwaukee

On the podcast, they talked about his home/away splits and how much better he was on the road than at the Trop. He talked about how he literally could not see the ball while batting at the trop and that’s why he hit better on the road

I watched him in the playoffs in '19 and liked his energy. Started picking up some Chrome Rookie auto's and it turned into a full blown collection. Waiting on some biggies back from PSA and then one day I'll show it off.

His upside in the hobby is minimal most likely. It's nice to pick stuff up for a couple bucks though.

Come on, you've been here long enough to know these threads are pump threads. You don't have to say it outright. A quick glance at the OP profile does nothing to suggest he would be a Brewer fan. It's a simple let's try and get people talking to boost his prices

I will never understand why you and others care. We are on a baseball card board. Real life fandom and hobby/investment interest are connected by design.

The Kiermaier to Adames playoff relay throw is honestly a top-5 all-time play for me. I've watched the replay so many times and it never gets old. I don't think he has any chance of becoming a hobby darling, but definitely worthy of some light collecting. And he couldn't have found a better fit than Milwaukee.

I honestly don't care. I was responding to a guy trying so hard to white knight and defend that it wasn't. Throw out all the pump threads you want, but own it.

And wanting a guy to perform well so your collection of cards is worth more is not the same thing as real life fandom. The fandom ends when the last card is sold for most.

Yep - I'm a huge fan - extremely cerebral player who always gives 110%. I was upset when the Rays got rid of him, but at the same time, he really does have issues hitting there... so long-term this is probably for the best. So far the results are proving what the home/road splits indicated. He's a much better hitter than he gets credit for, and maybe now that he doesn't have to take 50% of his at-bats at the Trop, people may start to notice.

About time.

I have been a 'closet' Adames collector for some time. My favourite highlight of him was when he threw out a Houston Astro at home plate with a relay throw in the 2019 ALDS at Tropicana. The catch from the outfield, quick transfer, and bullet like throw to home plate(in a tight game) was incredible.

He's been a great acquisition for the Brewers.

This must be the one I'm thinking of. He had to leap to catch it, lightening tranfer, and bullet to home plate. Eye popping.

Seriously unbelievable. Yordan destroying the ball, Altuve ripping around the bases, KK with a perfect rebound and throw, Adames with a perfect relay and throw, and Darnaud with a perfect recieval and tag.
