Yep. Don’t want to call it one way or the other and then not be able to determine and give (possibly) the wrong team the ball and decide the game that way.

To me it’s the better call to make in those situations.

These close losses must hurt. So many chances to take the lead late.

The end of that game reminded me why the end of many NBA games are so tedious....I think it took 15 minutes to play the last 30 seconds.

NBA should give the leading team the right to take two points instead of shooting two free throws, and the trailing team the right to turn down free throws in order to keep possession so that they can attempt a three.

Games every other day is pretty standard in the NBA playoffs. The only time you get a longer break is if you win your previous series in fewer games than your opponent.

But the Clippers took 7 games to win their first round series (as opposed to 5 games for the Jazz), and 6 games to win their second round series (as opposed to 4 for the Suns).

So their opponents have always gotten more rest....

You would end up with the defense continuing to foul on the inbound to take time off the clock, which would end up doing basically what they have now. Fouling to prevent the three.

Injuries are part of the game....saying that team X would have won if so-and-so wasn't hurt is neither here nor there....

The playoffs are impacted by injuries pretty much every year.

Good win by PHO.

Book was off and a bunch of other shots were just rimming out.

I thought it was great to see it turn in to a grind. I think both defenses were working hard.

Zubac was a presence.

I think PHO light them up in game 5 and close it.

Can't wait for the Finals match up.

This is true. But what good luck the Suns have had every matchup … injured AD (and a not 100% LeBron), injured Murray, injured Kawhi. Though admittedly one of those names is not like the others.

Their finals matchup will be the first healthy team they’ve faced.

I was just texting with my old roommate who is a lifelong Suns fan. Couldn’t be happier for the diehard fans who stuck with their team even through all the crappy years. Trying to convince him to book a flight and hotel in Phoenix, since it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Well I thought the clips finished the game well, if they can carry that into game 5. I know Suns shot bad but so did clips and they took it into Ayton a little too much. Thay have shown they can keep things close in Phx (but i guess that was without CP3).

...then of course there is always Kawhi, who knows whats going on with him??? but I imagine if he came back it could change things...

hahah that's pretty bad too. but at least for ORL, they really only missed out on SGA and MPJ, there are plenty of other duds from that draft class after the top 5 (would Knox be any better of a pick?). SAC passed on Luka AND Trae, AND didn't at least trade down and receive compensation for passing on Luka.
