Looks like it’s gone now. There was almost like an eye lash to the left of Mahomes right thigh. So left side of the card towards the stripes on the edge

Love this! I picked up the Maroon Select from....I dunno, 2018? It's one of my favorite cards. Just looks beautiful with the color match.

I just stay buying numbered stuff. With the current print runs I don't trust anything else. Anytime I see a good deal (mostly auctions) I try and jump on it

Looks like it did 80k. Shocked the Red Power Prizm /49 only did 25k after a BGS 9 previously did the same.

I'm telling you all, if you have the money to buy and hold, it is a great time to buy.

Red power was very low - I was going to make a run for it but I knew the max bidder put in $30Kish which I wasn't going to beat (already have one and don't need another). To your point though, a lot of good buys to be had.

I think it depends how long you plan to hold. I’m not sure if the market keeps dropping overall his stuff will be much higher week 1 then now. Could see it being lower which is crazy.

Camo is obviously lower numbered but the red power is significantly more aesthetically pleasing and arguably one of his nicest looking rookie cards in general

In terms of pop reports:

PSA 9 - 7
PSA 10 - 5

BGS 8.5 - 1
BGS 9 - 7
BGS 9.5 - 3
BGS 10 -1

Total = 24/25 graded

Red Power
PSA 8 - 1

These aren't my most valuable Mahomes' rookies but they are some of my favorites!

1. 2017 Red Stellar /99. None have come up for sale for close to 8 months.

2. 2017 Optic Contenders Rookie of the Year /49. Last sale around 5 months ago.

Is the print run for 2018 prizm silvers less than 2017, considering there was 1 silver per box in 2018?

Also, how come his rc prizm was only in silver format and not base too? Thanks for any input

All the base rookies in 2016 and 2017 prizm football were in "silver" format. That changed starting again in 2018. Wasn't just his rookie that was a silver only, all the 2017 prizm rookies were "silver"

Yes, the print run for 2018 Silvers is much lower than 2017. Look at the pop reports for an idea of how much rarer.

Wow 80k seems soft. I think both the one that sold for 90k and this one will seem like good values as we get into first part of the season.

Have you looked at the market in general? It’s a bloodbath. I hope I am wrong, but Patty’s prices will be lower in Sept then they were 2 months after the SB L.

Like I said I hope I’m wrong, but people need to be cautious with the thinking that when the season comes everything will be alright and back to end of last year prices. I don’t see it.

I agree. I don't think his prices will bounce back unless he has either an MVP season or makes the playoffs.
