Not sure on print runs, I saw a few numbers thrown out there but maybe 50-100? There was a thread on blowout from a few years back guessing 15, but I think it's a decent amount more than that. Still low print run, but not absolutely insanely low would be my guess.
15 is a good guess. Ask the folks on here who are trying to piece together the set. They never pop up.

If TJ is sharing his, I'll share mine Not a PSA, but has the highest BGS subs.

Beautiful cards! I kept missing out on the recent auctions that have popped up. Hoping to pick one up one of these days, it's at the top of my list.

How much of the original product these came from do you think remains unopened? I also wonder how many people that pulled these cards didn't realize what they had? Funds willing, for me the Bron is a priority and will attempt to chase some of the other players in the set as well. There is something so clean about the design, and I absolutely love that there are no parallels either.

Probably a lot more than 15 produced.

PSA has grade 14 Lebron cards from this set.

BGS has graded 13 Lebron cards from this set.

I've spent 4 years chasing this set and am only half way there.

Many of the cards I've never even seen pop up.

The ones that do are priced high. I thought I was overpaying when I dropped $300 on Devin Booker 4 months ago.. but now I'm not so sure.

Some of my low numbered Lebron non-rookie cards (2012-2018) ended over the past two days and the sale prices on most of them were stronger than I excepted.

Congrats, that's great news! I'm managing to pick up some nice stuff 90s for what I think are decent prices (although some of that stuff also maintaining strong values, but there are certain pockets of value I think).

Some of these nice Lebron cards still strong for sure. I forget who posted it on IG, but they showed results for Lebron "collector" cards (especially beautiful, auto, low #, high value cards) and many were continuing to set records. Def interesting times. If you believe in the market, the set, the player, and have the funds it could be good time to pick things up. I certainly am. But I can also stomach it if things continue to tank, so the risk is ok to me, I can live with it.

I'd love to see a picture of all those together, that's an amazing set to build!

I was also looking for a topps contemporary forever and finally nabbed one for a decent price. 1750ish for a bgs 8.5 that looks well centered (the biggest thing I look for lol)

I think topps contemporary is arguably his best looking rookie card and still very underrated in my book.

I used to own that optic preview. They are great cards.

Won a /600 mystique rc for a rack this week as a BIN. A few days later one went for 2200 at open auction.

So that's cool. Hopefully mine will grade out decent. I'd take an 8 with that set. A dime would be ridiculous.

Dang Ive been looking for the /600 mystique rookie for a 1000 or less. A lot of copies have major damage on the bottom edge (possibly a factory cut issue). Did the one you won have that issue?

It's one that has been very high on my hit list for along time as well.

fraction symbol generator

Those where the scans provided and the listing said that the card is "gradeworthy"... for whatever that is worth.

Not in hand yet but in route. Should be home soon. It will be going to PSA short of it being folded in half upon arrival.

Dang that looks like a nice copy. I did see that for 2000 and didn’t bother making him an offer lol. Nice snag!

Yeah I love the blue color (compared to the bronze /999).. Not a fan of the die cut though. Can’t have best of both worlds though unless you’re rich and can afford the gold one haha

Thanks man

Yea I didnt think I would win but I told him I would instapay with my initial offer of a grand after he countered at like 1500. Was surprised he took it... then had to pay lol.

I actually like the /999 copy of this card too... it's on the hit list.

Would really like to pick up a contemporary. Those are sharp. Congrats on snagging one.

I've never even seen that one! Nice... and I want one lol.

I've told this story here a few times but I bought a raw topps Lebron rc with a raw topps kobe RC for like 300 dlvd at open auction... sent them off to psa slow style. The kobe got an 8.5 which is fine... the Lebron Dimed! I sold it for like 5k and bought a home. It isnt anything special but it's cheaper to live there than rent... and I own it.

Ever since then I have been stacking lebron rookies.

The plan is to sell a quarter million worth in late 2023.

I cant go 20 to 1 on my investment often... but 5 to 1 isnt unreachable. Buy raw and send to psa hoping to do well.

Plus I actually like collecting so if they are not worth as much as I paid in a few years it's no big deal.

Hi guys, quick question. What are the signs of a fake/rp Lebron Topps 221? I'm currently looking for one and on some photos it's so hard to distinguish the shiny #1 draft pick text. What other signs mean it's authentic? Thank you!

if you compare the 2, the fakes are usually darker in tone. Also it is non glossy and the foil embossing is printed on the fake ones.

Ah. I guess that's what was throwing me off a bit on the graded ones, they do look somewhat "lighter".

I'm also starting to notice the difference in the glossy part and foil embossing.

Thanks for helping out!

The LeBron Optic Preview that PWCC just sold went WAY lower than I would have ever expected. Someone got a great deal.

It sold the same as the last BGS 9.5 copy in May, which was auctioned off twice by PWCC in a five month span.

What did it pull? Would like to try and add that one back to the collection at some point... and the Curry from the same set.

Thanks sebreg! It's my favorite card by far right now.

But I have to raise the funds to grade it quick style... hoping they open one of the more affordable levels in July.

I have something like 30 lebron rookies at PSA right now... and another 20 cards that are nothing but fuel for more Lebron rooks.

Cant wait to get all those back... but its gonna be a long long time lol.
