Super excited to add this one to the collection. PSA pop of only 17 total graded. Not to be confused with the blue jersey preview card that came out of chronicles that has nearly 900 graded. Hardest to find Luka base card (next to Court Kings level 4)

Nice, I know the print run is super low but dont know the exact number. There are only 5 cards in a box and only 1 base card per box. With 100 base cards, you could get a luka in 1% of boxes.

Can’t remember what I figured out back in the day. It should be more than the highest numbered parallel, but the base almost never shows up. I’ve always preferred the real Obsidian to the Preview because of the black jersey.

Totally agree on these…I think the base obsidian PR was calculated to be ~50-55…really low. The case count/production run was also online only and very small.

Edit: I vaguely remember doing the math on these and I feel like the case run was something like 400-450 cases, with the chances of hitting a Luka base/insert or auto in a case being something like 75%.

Anyone remember the elite black box rc pop report? I did not remember their being a PSA 10 and now the pop report shows 1. I have 3 in a sub that is Q1.

There was one PSA 10 back in November when I first pulled all the data for Chronicles.

Thanks. Only showing 9 base graded. Don’t look like any additions to the pop so there is still hope.

I haven't done any research, but I think the Mavs best moves would be trying to get John Collins with max or close to max offer and try to trade Porzingis for an expiring contract; that way, if the duo of Luka and Collins hits off and the Mavs perform better than this past season, maybe they can attract a star to join them the year after.

Not what I WANT to happen, but I think that KP gets traded to Portland for CJ McCollum. Nurkic has a non-guaranteed contract and by all accounts is on his way out of Portland. CJ seems to have plateaued next to Dame and may be a nice fit alongside Luka. It is also one of the few trades Dallas could make where they don't have to give up another asset to move KP as KP and CJ have very similar contracts. The Mavs would still need to add a big man to replace/upgrade KP's minutes at center.

I really like John Collins because he still have a ton of potential and may be able to out play his contract one day.

He is a two way power forward and can hit the deep ball or roll to the rim with authority.

Little small for the position but not so small in this new age basketball.

Personally, I wouldn't mind finding a way to get Capela either.

One of these should be able to be obtained due to atlanta hawks assets.

I love Collins as the most realistic add. He’d be deadly with Luka in the pick and roll, can shoot the three, rebound, and defend.

Maybe, but they have so much assets and I see John Collins as being the 4th most important player in the team, behind trae, capela, and bogdan, so they eventually have to let someone go.

I know this is general question, but I figure the BO community has some pretty good historical market knowledge, so figured I would ask:

what is the highest price a 2018 Doncic NT RPA has sold for?

I found a couple in the pwcc database for $230k or so but I’m wondering if there have been bigger ones. Just watching the bgs 9.5 in the Goldin auction right now, and it seems to me that with buyer premium and taxes, the current bid (with days to go) looks like it could be a new record, right? Pretty interesting for a “down” market.

Wow my mistake didn’t think to search the auction house archives…that’s a huge number. Granted there’s a premium these days for a psa 10 vs a bgs 9.5 but didn’t realize it would be that big.

agree here, gallo is a throw in , they should keep hunter/reddish as well for length. I like the young celtics guy in the middle....or on blazers-ha
