Even if the Hawks get swept against the Bucks (I hope they go at least 6), Trae is gonna be in the MVP talks before the start of next season.

I hope nobody allows Philly to get away from him.

In the end, he’ll be more famous for dating one of the Kardashians than being a basketball player.

Ben passing up that open dunk was equally as bad as Trae’s night. Proud to believe in this team all season when almost no one did. Big game KEV!!! I missed maybe 3 games all year. And about 30 in the last 3 years. This feels amazing to watch the team grow.

Only a hawnks win could unearth the board's most bitter Lukaboi maximalist.

There's something amazing about Trae just being frequently so bad and the hype grows and grows lol

If the Hawks bring back basically the same team and get Hunter back, they'll be in the talks to be top 3 seed in the East and Trae is the clear leader/star. I don't think Trae is ready for MVP talk but I think it'll happen with his playoffs this year and how good the Hawks look to be set for the next few years.

It's amazing how far he's regressed. You don't want to shoot 3's? Alright, I get it. But then to not be able to hit FT's, and not even ATTEMPT a layup/dunk? Sad..

Does Simmons have a shooting coach and mental coach? He could use both in the off-season and just come back with his head right.

I know right! Where are all the people that were sarcastically praising the Hawks for beating a superstar-less “terrible” Knicks team (which wasn’t even true)? We were down Hunter all series and Bogi for games 6 and 7 (effectively)

No more excuses. Hawks earned this!

I did, and said I would bet if the series happened. Forgot before the series started with real life. But you sure didn’t reach out to me. All good though I was always a believer and I know that which is the important part.

Thanks man. Always good to hear your perspective. I’m somewhat relieved the pain came to an end.

Wish Danny Green could have played the end of the series and Embiid 100%. But same can be said about Deandre Hunter.

Anyways it will be interesting what the Sixers do to reup on next year. I imagine Embiid will get operated on in the coming days/weeks.

My condolences Ballhawk. See you in the football threads!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, sir. Obviously a disappointing loss and an outcome I'm not sure even the most ardent Hawks fans saw this coming, but I imagine they're buzzing right now after taking out the top seed in the East. I had high expectations this season (I believe rightfully so)... I'll let this one sting for a bit. Still plenty of basketball left, though, and hopefully three equally entertaining series.

Props to the Hawks and their BO fans. I'm a Trae fan myself, so I can finally get back to enjoying his PnR game and foul drawing shenanigans.

Good hair needs eyewear. He'll be onto a real hollywood b-lister once he signs that supermax.

Man. I actually had the Kendall a-cup gif up on my desktop locked and loaded. Helluva game. As I've said all postseason...flip a coin.

Y’all clowning on trae. He came through in crunch time. I’m sure kd would give up his 48 points last night to be moving on to the conference finals. Winning matters.

he had some really good assists tonight. he's the head of the snake. yeah it was an off night shooting wise but he still was impactful. don't forget the deep 3 late.
