Paul George getting over hyped chants. How about Giannis.

This thread and the "Calling it now-Mahomes is dealing with a problem in his throwing shoulder" thread.

Amazing stuff.

Lets be clear, especially in your case...

a bad take doesn't necessarily mean a bad poster.

We all have them. Myself included.

This one was off, but if I haven't mentioned or call you out on a good take before, then shame on me.

Depends on if 'big version of Russell Westbrook' is a dig or a compliment.

I guess big version of an future NBA HOFer can be looked at as a compliment.

Dare him to shoot the 3…. He will still make some and knock Durant out of the playoffs. He hit 2 3s in game 7, what would have been if he didn’t take them?

Why are you doing this man? Bucks aren’t in the clear yet with the potential of Clippers/Suns and 76ers/Hawks along the way.

The series established what we all know. A change in fortune elevated his odds but it didn’t really change his flaws.

I agree. As good as it feels today, the Bucks are only in the ECF. This should not be the the destination. A Finals loss would be acceptable, although we'll never have an easier road from here to a Championship. That second round series vs. the Nets was most likely the most difficult opponent we will face. That said, the Sixers, Hawks, Clippers, and Suns are good and could beat the Bucks in a 7-game series.

I'm not even close to crowning anyone yet. Yes, we won one of the most difficult 2nd round series that I can remember, but it was still a 2nd-round series.

I agree. Anyone looking past the 76ers, Suns, healthy Clippers, and maybe even the Hawks (they keep surprising me) is making a big mistake.

- Most of us thought the Lakers would roll the Suns.
- Nobody saw Atlanta pushing Philly to 7.
- Everyone wrote off the Clippers THREE TIMES -- down 0-2 to Dallas, down 0-2 to Utah, and then after Kawhi couldn't finish the Utah series.
- Most of us thought the Bucks were done for after game 2 against the Nets, and then even moreso after they barely eeked out a game 3 win.

I can't imagine having a significant degree of confidence about what's going to happen from here on out. I'm gonna go ahead and say the Hawks won't win the NBA title. That's about the extent of my confidence right now.

I'm obviously pulling for my 76ers and believe 76ers/Bucks is the rightful ECF, but I have no idea what's going to happen anymore.

Because nobody is more defensive about his Giannis investment that TJ.

Fact is, Bucks would have been blown out of the series had it not been for the Harden and Kyrie injuries. And despite that, they did their best to still lose. They got lucky, and sometimes you need that. Giannis stuff won’t see sustained positive momentum until he wins a title.

Two different things we can be talking about here:

Is Giannis a NBA champ yet? No.

But what he did do is come through in Game 7 and go a long way towards getting rid of the stigma that he disappears in the most important playoff games.

So far this postseason's hes slayed 2 major demons: Avenging last years loss vs the Heat, out dueling the Nets and their superstar in an epic game 7.

Hard to call Giannis a playoff choker anymore.

Funny that the fact I believe in someone makes me defensive.

Despite the fact that I have more value tied up in Luka/Trae, Tom Brady, Mahomes, and LeBron, you constantly feel the need to call me out whenever I get excited about a Giannis performance.

I get it... a lot of people around here sold off their Giannis stuff when prices rose, and now have a bunch of the tens of thousands of Luka and Trae Prizm bass stuff.....but stop trying to gate keep my ability to root for a player I like watching play.

My 'investments' pay off in this order right now in the East:
-Hawks
-Bucks
-76ers....

Yet my rooting interest at the moment goes:
-76ers
-Bucks
-Hawks

I'm enjoying this quite a bit right now that the Nets are donzo... sorry it bothers you so much.

Giannis had an amazing game, but Middleton and Jrue hit a lot of the crunch time buckets.

Newsflash bro. There are other people here who have large stakes in Giannis too. Matter of fact, he’s my third biggest basketball holding. Behind only Luka and MJ. Do you see me quoting a dozen posts of wrong opinions like a 15 year old?

So did Ray Allen, Steve Kerr, Robert Horry.

It takes a team.
