I didn't say anything about the fashion icon or pop culture figure creating it. It's about their power as an influencer to post about something and gain interest. Since Complexland has to do with people in fashion and pop culture, I could see this happening. Supreme simply slaps their logo on something, it's not like they are creating the actual item. Not that i'm a fan of these "cards" or the whole connection to Topps but I wouldn't be completely surprised to see collectors chasing them or people flipping them for big money in the future if they are indeed limited.

Certainly not their strongest efforts. I'm going to stop short of saying they were bad though. I feel like the Pardee will grow on me. The Ermsy may not, but I like that he did something different there.

I purchased 5 out of 20 this week, which seems like my average.

It made me a little sad to break my NY Nico set but the Mantle card is unattractive.

Quiccs Prince Fish was the one I really like but need to maintain a disciplined approach.

Regardless of the “pass/fail” verdict of P70, the conversation remains as robust as ever.

My ranking of NY Nico cards is in exact order of release, which is bad.

Everyone’s opinion is valid for them because it’s their opinion. I can’t even believe I have to explain that to you. Opinions aren’t facts, they are opinions.

Ben Baller follows this trend for me. I actually liked the Ny Nico Cole and Rivera. Not a fan of the Mantle, but I can't say I notice a general downward trend for his (their) cards.

Actually I'm quite happy with this week's cards because there were few duds and some real hits.
