I don't bet but if you had a hammer to my head I'd say Luka.

Trae nasty too though...

He finished off the Knicks, and took a bow on the way out...great stuff.
Agree! It was awesome to see Trae take on the "villian" role. Like a shadow-side of Curry/Nash. An underdog turned heel for a series. I don't think he necessary had that game plan going into the series but fed off the Madison Square Garden crowd and did a quick re-write on the spot. Loved it. Very Jordan-esque, not in terms of talent/style but in terms of doing what was necessary to get himself pumped up for a series.

I also think he's using the all star snub this year as motivation in these playoffs. I'm sure the entire NYK series he was thinking - y'all picked THIS guy before me!?

Atlanta is full of celebrities and for that reason is more attractive.

LOL you're really reaching here

Whomever forces a move from the franchise that drafted them first in order to join a super-team.

Says a guy from Long Island that has probably never set foot in the A. There's alot going on culturally in Atlanta that is attractive to potential free agents. Add in a young exciting teams and there's potential there. It ain't LA, but its sure as hell ahead of most NBA markets.

regardless, the point is market doesn't matter unless it's NY or LA, or the players' hometown. the "Lillard will go to ATL because of rap" comment was ludacris.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Wake me up when the big f.a. signs with ATL, i won't be holding my breath. Do i need to set foot in Atl to know the next big f.a. isnt going there? I'm sure it's a beautiful place, f.a.'s arent going there though. I'm talking stars to, not an Oladipo. When someone like Kawai opts out and goes to Atl, then and only then will i believe any of this.

Damian Lillard is one of the best point guards in the game but what sense does it make to have a backcourt with Trae Young and Damian Lillard? I actually don't doubt that Atlanta could lure a free agent there especially with Trae's recent performances but it would probably be a wing or big.

Born/raised in LI and have been to ATL so not sure if my opinion matters at all.

I have a hunch that San Fran & Miami are not equal to Cleveland & Milwaukee in the eyes of superstar FAs.

Luka may very well end up heading for greener pastures than Dallas in 2022.

It doesn’t seem like too long ago the narrative was superstars were going to push to sign with Houston, Dallas and Miami because of no state income tax. Shouldn’t that help Dallas sign free agents? Is that not a thing anymore? Pardon my Canadian ignorance

Bunch of new guys will probably win one before Luka wins his.

Trae gotta stop putting up -11 after -11 in the playoffs to get a sniff of a title.

The Hawks have never signed a superstar FA. I think it's 50/50 that he stays in Atlanta longterm. There is no way to project who ends up playing with who in a few years. Would anyone have guessed Harden, Durant, and Kyrie would be on the same team three years ago?

No chance of that happening. He's eligible for a 5 year $201 million max extension after this past season because of the Derrick Rose rule. He's locked up in Dallas until 2027.

When asked if he'll sign the extension he said "i think you already know the answer".

Respect if he stays. I'm skeptical he'll ever be surrounded by the right talent in Dallas though.

Dikembe is the closest thing

I feel people not giving Trae enough credit. Beating the sixers will get people's attention though.

so we're just gonna ignore the fact that Trae and the Hawks are 3 wins away from the Finals?

Even if they somehow get past the Bucks they won't win against either the Suns or the Clippers sorry.

don't know man, this team doesn't look elite on paper, but can pull off some upsets.
