I'm a Lashley fan so Im looking forward to his HIAC match, though I am a tad tired of him wrestling Drew. Hopefully he wins at HIAC and can move on to someone else.

The ending of Raw was terrible. I've said all along that The Fiend and now the Alexa Bliss stuff is all complete garbage, and it continues to be. Why they decided to use Shayna for this, I'll never know. They've ruined her so much since bringing her up (And Im not the biggest Shayna fan or anything). One of the few reasons I look forward to the fans coming back, is so they cant do some of these stupid things. Although Im sure they'll still do a bunch of pre taped backstage crap. Sadly Im sure this leads to Alexa, or worse yet Lily, squashing Shayna at some point.

Im praying when they bring fans back they have some big plans or surprises. This same old #@#@#@#@ is getting old. I loved the fiend and Bray Wyatt in general but adding Alexa and doing what they are doing now is so stupid. Why try to push his gimmick onto her. If he needed time off they couldve turned into something like he vanished and have her play off of not having him around. Not trying to turn her into him. Drives me insane.

That being said, everyone's default gimmick they want for every single wrestler is "bad@$$ who just beats the f out of everyone." After so long, unless you are a generational talent like Stone Cold was, it gets really really stale. The size of the division you can run through for the women is 25% of what it is for the men, so imagine that flaming out even faster - it got to a point in NXT where I was just like "Oh my god get the belt off her!"

Here is the thing, people dont like the drama angles like what they are doing with Alexa because they want more of "I DONT LIKE YOU MENDOZA - FIGHT ME NOW!" leading to an all out brawl. Sometimes you need more than that to carry a show.

Is Shayna the ideal wrestler for this? Probably not, but she has been really good - much better than she was during her 18 straight weeks of fighting Mandy / Dana / Naomi / Lana in 3 minute matches with a roll up win.

I was not a huge fan of her lengthy NXT title run, because they dragged it on for a bot too long. I feel that same way about Becky's reign, Shayna should have beaten her at Mania when they faced off.

I do however think you could do a good run of Shayna as champion IF they had her SD. Let her be a badass and run through that roster.

My problem on RAW was that you had her running from a doll and an almost midget woman in Alexa. They backed themselves into a corner with Bliss, because for whatever reason they want to continuously push her even though she's so small and just awful at most things. They just need to make SHayna look strong in this feud and eventually have her beat Rhea for the title and then build for the Shayna/Charlotte match which is Mania worthy

Good NXT leading into the IYH Takeover this Sunday. Really looking forward to that event. All the matches have potential to be really good.

I just hope they don't put the title on Boring Drew just so he can feud with a returning Lesnar. I don't think DM can draw money vs anyone. Put Lashley and Lesnar together that has been talked over for years. Put DM vs Steroid Mahal loser has to take up the 3MB gimmick again.

L.A Knight and Grimes put on one helluva ladder match tonight

L.A wins the coveted Million dollar championship belt

Bronson Reed/MSK vs Legado del Fantasma - Good opener. Everyone looked good during this one. Im not a fan of any of the Legado del Fantasma guys, but they worked hard as I said. The right team won I'd say.

Xia Li vs Mercedes Martinez - Figured Li would win here, since they seem to be giving her a little push. Its unfortunate that they haven't done anything with Mercedes, sure she's gotten title opportunities, but I think a title reign, even a short one, would have been good at some point.

LA Knight vs Cameron Grimes - Some hard bumps in this one. Both these guys will be sore for awhile after this one. Not a Knight fan, but he did his part in this one. I was hoping for Grimes to win, because I thought the stuff he and Dibiase could do together would have been entertaining, but I guess they wanted to go the more serious route.

Raquel Gonzalez vs Ember Moon - Match was ok, but something seemed off to me. Both women looked good though. Guessing Shotzi will get a shot next?

Kross vs Gargano vs Cole vs Dunne vs O' Reilly - Great main event. Match of the night for me. They gave it enough time and everyone had a chance to shine in this one. Cole can still say Kross didnt beat him and hopefully get a one on one match, if they wanna go that way.

Overall, a great Takeover, easily one of the best events from any promotion this year. NXT continues to kill it

Another strong NXT last night. Samoa Joe was the highlight for me. I know he wasnt gone too long but was awesome to see him back, does suck that he can't compete, but him on the mic and doing stuff backstage will be great.
