To be fair, Bird had all of luka but was magical when a big game was on the line. I know luka had that gw last year in the playoffs but it still remains to be seen whether he does that in any finals matchup.

Plus bird was a killer at the ft line. He almost had the record of consecutive free throws made. 89% career ft shooter.

Before the game, their stable of top tier defenders were an assurance that the Hawks would not get those looks.

Hawks made a mistake of playing 1-1 down the stretch. Gotta bring in a second ball handler and keep playing downhill. Their youth showed
