Looking at your devers collection you have many duplicates. So obviously buyers collect more than one, no?

Also... I would guess there are more than 20 people across the hobby who think like I do. And that's assuming there are 1,000,000 people in this hobby, which may be a bit high.

I don’t need to be saved. I use grading as a tool in my toolbox. I buy Uber high grade raw for my PC, and when and if I do sell, I grade to maximize my selling price. My point is, it doesn’t have to be all or nothing - you can miss opportunities with that rigidness

Can’t say it’s complaining, just wonderment at the sheep who don’t see the emperor isn’t wearing clothes…and at those constantly hyping how magically good it is for the benefit of the sheep.

Sounds and feels like complaining at this point. We get it already. You dislike grading. And Im aware there's more than 5 people on BO that hate grading, but they don't talk about it every day, all day like those 5-7. If grading guys are sheep...whats that make raw dawg boys? Pigeons, Frogs, Dinosaurs? I think both should have names.

This is what I do if I PC a player who's cards are high, Acuna cards for example are high. So when I was buying, I would grab a 9 for less than it's ungraded counterpart. In fact, all my Acuna's that are graded are 9's (not a single 10 or BGS 9.5) and I paid less (and in some cases far less) for those 9's than what they go for raw. If the players cards are low, then I go ungraded, unless it's just an absolute steal.

There was a guy when I growing up who used to "raw dog" the nasty tweeker chicks in the neighborhood. We eventually just called him Raw Dog.

Raw card collectors have it better than ever. Just buy a PSA 8 and crack it out. You pay less than raw and still get a very nice looking card.

People just like to complain.
