It's much different in a 7-game series when the other team has good defenders to throw at you and a whole series to game-plan for you.

This was way the Knicks problem all year they go through stretches where they can’t score and it showed up this whole series.

Also doesn’t help that they seem to have forgotten how to play defense...the amount of open 3s they are giving up is absurd

Hawks stepping on the gas now - too many weapons compared to the Knicks

Trae sits and you still have 4 shooters on the floor with Lou/Huerter/Bogdan/Gallo.

The endless Philly fan confidence is pretty amusing. Like thinking going from Len to Capela is just a non-factor not even worth talking about. Not saying Hawks will win, they probably won't - but the more Philly phans just talk about Bklyn/Mil without even mentioning atl, the more confident I feel that it's going to be a fun series.

For the first time all season that I can remember the Knicks look like they have given up

Ohh.. it should be a fun series... I expect it to go 6. No way the Hawnks don't have a game or two where they are hitting on everything.

That being said.... I'll take action on any and all even money bets (that I have the capacity to pay up on) from member bullish on the Hawnks enough to make one.

It doesn't have to be cash or cards... it could be something fun or embarrassing (yet still in good fun). And who knows... if Embiid's knee goes, or Simmons' back goes, it could be an easy series for Atlanta.

Let's see who really has confidence in these guys like I have in the Sixers!

Win or lose Atlanta was going to go street racing anyway. It's a holiday weekend.

Gotta give it to D Rose but I think he’s spent. With him being their beat player this series…

Hawks just have too many weapons

Nice! Up 3-1. Just close this series out. Have to think Knicks will play their best game in game 5.

Sorry, even money? #1 seed vs Atl?
I like atl in this one, but even I wouldn’t be stupid enough to make an even money bet on Atl

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. These BO Philly fans act like the entire NBA revolves around their boring team

Hack-a-Ben is most likely gonna be a huge factor whenever Hawks are down in the 2nd half. Cha boy just broke the record for most FT misses without a make in playoff history. They're also a team with a mediocre offense for a top seed, and they thrive off transition buckets. That goes away when the pace is slowed to a crawl and Ben shoots 50% from the line while the Hawks hoist up triples.

Curry and Green are the big x-factors in this series, if they're hitting and providing spacing then Philly will win. Nate will also be forced to swap offensive for defensive personnel, meaning Dunn will be taking minutes from Lou most likely. The other thing is Okongwu is young/inexperienced if Capela gets in foul trouble.

Atlanta will take the next series and either get stuck in the conference or make it to the finals.
If they make it, they’re winning this season

You should bet with the guy who’s trying to lay even money when his team is gonna be a 1/4 favorite 😂

Hawks are very deep on both ends of the court, and playing the best basketball they have all year. Definitely have a good shot.

I wish they’d stop going on about D Rose’s “resurgence” every single year....the guy has been solid for many years after his injuries. He scored 50pts a few years back ffs! He has been much like post-injury Grant Hill....still a good starter-level player, just not A/S or MVP level anymore. He can’t be your best player, though, and take you anywhere in the playoffs.

I’m going with Philly.

Unlike the NYK, the 76ers has a legit blue chip first option in Embiid. It’s arguable that even Tobias Harris has a higher offensive skillset than Randle, to put things in perspective. They can score and defend.

Man, Randle really fooled us. I knew their scoring drought was a concern but no one foresaw a JR meltdown at this level. I’m truly perplexed. McMillan did not even doubled him. He just lost confidence. Wow.

Another part of it is people have underrated the Hawks and Young the entire season. BO analysts have projected them to miss the playoffs this year despite obvious upgrades in their roster.

I was surprised it took until the second quarter for the first tear to drop. Good job BO!
