I didn't win any during the PWCC auction. I narrowly missed both the Immaculate RPA and Silver 9.5 and when I looked everything else was ended (way to go PWCC). When I went back and looked at the sales prices of the lower end stuff I couldn't believe the deals that were had.

Ha listen he's a top player in the league. I'm just saying anytime I've seen him play it's been not what I expected to see. Granted I'm talking about 5 games maybe. I just watch my teams games usually

Also, and trust me I understand it’s the internet so everyone thinks their .02 is worth .03, but what was your point of posting? You can count on one hand the number of times you’ve seen a 2 time MVP play and you drop in to say you’re not impressed? All the while offering nothing of value or substance to describe why or to start an actual discussion. What type of response or contribution did you believe you were bringing?

Going to cost me A LOT to start collecting Giannis Wax now ...... so my question is, 20 years in the future, where do you think he will in the History Books of the NBA? I am a Collector / not a flipper

He pretty much mirrored his rookie season this year.... the problem... those numbers don't set you apart from the rest of the league. Once you blend in... the masses forget about you.

He's only 21 and if he continues to improve and starts putting up 20/7/6 as a 23 year old... people will take notice. Pick him up now while he is cheap.

I’m both. I’m a collector first but I flip to fund bigger purchases and I asked myself this question a lot before going heavy into Giannis.

My thoughts on Giannis are bullish as I believe he carries a Durant/Curry type legacy. Both of those players have something generational to their games as I believe Giannis does as well.

I don’t see him reaching a LBJ/MJ level due to him not shooting well enough (though if he ever figures it out, watch out), but I don’t see anything as unattainable with him due to his perceived drive and work ethic.

The issue is that when people really seemed to take notice was last year in the bubble where he performed.

So far this series he's put up averages of 7/2/2 20% shooting.

Was able to grab a couple low end rookies cheap. BGS 9 Pinnacle and a nice raw Panini 194 RC.

As a Bucks fan, glad they THRASHED the heat, felt good...but I’m sure the prices would’ve been even better if the bucks would’ve lost. ��

What, in YOUR opinion, are the best LOOKING Giannis RC's (value not included)?

I always love this question because as card collectors we're 'trained' as to what cards are the best (mostly by value), but IMO I'd always prefer to have ones I find to be the most visually appealing.

My top 5:

1. Immaculate Logoman
2. Immaculate Acetate RPA
3. Immaculate Premium Patch RPA
4. Treasures Horizontal RPA
5. Immaculate 'True' RPA

You'll notice I don't have the "True" NT RPA. I think it's an amazing card, but it doesn't jump off the page to me visually. I'm also a HUGE fan of the Immaculate lineup from 2013.

(Hopefully this brings clarity as to what 'grails' of mine are currently available and why I'm looking to move a few I have )

I'll preface this by saying I'm not the biggest fan of RPAs in general. So my top 5 based on design and looks alone would be:

1. Court Kings Level IV
2. Select Purple Parallel
3. Hoops base
4. Flawless Diamond
5. Next Day Auto

His place in the history books at this point will be determined by whether or not he can win a ring or rings. If he can stay healthy and win multiple titles (especially if he does so in Milwaukee), he will definitely be considered an all-time great, top 20 type of guy. Obviously if he doesn't ever win one or has to go to another team and play Robin to someone else's Batman, he will be looked at as a great regular season player, something like an upgraded Karl Malone.

I don't think I collect at the same level as you, but I have a few 2013 boxes in my collection. This includes one Hoops, one Court Kings, two Prestige and one Crusade. My biggest regret was not purchasing a Prizm box at BO for $2,000 when the Giannis PSA 10 was reaching $1k for the first time. Good luck with your search if you decide to pull the trigger on a 2013 box.

Let's start with just making it to the finals. If Nets stay healty this year and the next 2 are out for the Bucks unless they add another star player.

I mean, ESPN has him at #27 already coming into this season. The guys in front of him:
-Wade
-Kawhi
-David Robinson
-Barkley
-Elgin Baylor
-Pippen
-Garnett
-Dirk

One title with the Bucks leap frogs him to the front of that list, and right in line with #18, 3-time MVP and 1 time Champion Moses Malone.

Even with no titles, if he keeps it up, he's gonna end up being a Top 20 player.
