Default ebay ID to block: ehol7905

Reason for return:
Just didn't like it

Comments:
Card will not grade as well as hoped from photos. Also card was delivered without cardboard around the top loader, just in a bubble mailer + top loader. It did not bend, luckily, but it could have been bent during shipping. Overall the card and how it was shipped were a bit of a disappointment.

You see both sides? So the return is justified because it won't grade as well as the buyer hoped? If so, I'd like your ebay ID as well.

no my siding with the buyer is spending $100 plus on a raw card

and it just sitting in a mailer

The card arrived without damage....the buyer even stated as much.

I swear people complain just to complain.

Mostly buyers remorse. I actually had a return a while back with the reason being "found it cheaper." Such a waste of time and money.

$100 is not really high dollar and it was sent secure. Could the OP have placed between a couple pieces of cardboard, sure but it was still in a top loader and sleeve and arrived perfectly fine. By no means should the shipping in this case be even considered in the return request.

Most of the time selling on eBay takes time and effort but it’s worth the trouble because of the access you get to so many potential buyers. That said, I’ve seen more and more buyers wanting returns on raw cards for the tiniest flaws. If it’s blatant and bad of course ask for a return. But sh*t like what’s referenced in this post is utterly insane. If you want a Gem Mint card then dammit pay the premium a BGS 9.5 or PSA 10 requires. Otherwise shut your mouth and keep the card and don’t ask for frivolous, petty returns. It’s so tiresome. It really is. Especially since I’ve never myself asked to return a raw card I purchased. In principle I don’t believe it’s right. Rant over

thanks for the heads-up. that is very annoying to have to deal with that type of buyer.

I HATE when sellers use cardboard. It’s easier to damage the card getting it out of the dang cardboard than the protection the cardboard is giving. I’ve actually accidentally damaged a couple cards by mistake just trying to get the cardboard off.

I am probably in the minority but I think cardboard is absolutely not needed. I use a sturdy piece of card stock paper, fold it in half and fold/tape it around the card. It works the same way cardboard does and isn’t a PITA to open on the receiving end. More high valued cards I do the same thing but also wrap it in bubble wrap

So we all agree painters tape is the only way. Scotch tape and packing tape is only used because they hate you.

I use a team bag with the open end of the top loader inserted first.

I’ve received items like that where the card still slid out and had to return it due to damage.

I'm sure if you have been buying for any length of time you have seen a lot....I have had no problems in selling this way, and will continue to use the team bag instead of any kind of tape to seal the top loader.

I've done it this way for 20 years and over 10,000 cards with no complaints.
