Good news no structural damage for deGrom, smart to just IL him for 10 days to get right, no need to push through this in May....

Mazeika is Legend.

This man has 2 walk-offs without a single career hit. Amazing. Baseball is beautiful.

Its early....but....

And damn are they just gonna never pitch to Alonso again?!?! Is he still 1st or 2nd in the national league for most pitches thrown out of the strike zone? Is the strategy to just put him on base 1-2 times a game and just hope the team doesn't drive him home multiple times (like they did today)?

It's boring, I want home runs not getting on base 3 outta 4 times and good defense...And damn does this team even hit HR's anymore? They have won 7 in a row yet have only hit 2 HR's in the last 6 games combined.

I really want to see what this team looks like with all its normal starters back in the line up.

Mets seem to only play with these very high highs, and very low lows. Todays game was a low low low. Congratulations to Pat Mazeika. Rojas does not know how to motivate his players.

Feel so bad for Pillar that was awful. You know he's going to be on the injured list.

Hopefully Walker avoids it.

We are very quickly running out of outfielders.

Pete Crow Armstrong done with shoulder surgery, torn labrum, not his throwing shoulder. WTF are the Mets trainers doing?

Villar has earned a starting job. Davis should be a bench player when the whole team is healthy. He can move to second temporarily while McNeil is still out. As Villar goes, the offense seems to go.

They indeed have. Atlanta isn’t playing well at all right now but they usually found a way to beat the Mets. Let’s go for the sweep today!

What's the record for consecutive strikeouts to start a big league career? Is Khalil Lee getting close? 8 in a row so far.

Gutsy win yesterday. Games like these in past seasons would have been losses. Despite the injuries, this team is somehow getting it done.

Hager DFAd after getting his first hit yesterday. Yamamoto back up with the club. bad news, Lucchesi gets the start today. Hopefully he pitches well, but I dont' think the club is doing him any favors at the moment.
