Based on...?

I would think $10 or slightly less is about right.

The big 52 week achievement being limited to 33 people who redeem first will make for a wild final week though. With 50 gold cards each week there will be 17 bag holders. And final week everyone and their grandson on ePack will play to try to get the final week gold ransom. Not sure why they limit it to 33 and not 50 tbh to avoid the heartache scenarios that will likely unfold final week.

Sketch Achievements

The first 33 collectors to redeem a complete 52-card Fred Ian Gold Autograph Parallel set will receive one randomly awarded original art Sketch Achievement by artist Fred Ian in one of two sizes: 2.5” x 3.5” or 5” x 7”.***

Appreciate it

After signing up, I learned you get one free pack/day. That's cool.

The free pack is a digital base card so nothing too great. Marvel Annual Pack Wars should be starting up soon and that has weekly achievements as well as the chance to get printing plates that are kind of fun... the game itself is kind of a grind though.

Fred Ian is quite a big name. Wouldn't be surprised if the price tag was around $12-13 ... can't remember how much Weekly packs were though.

Weekly packs in the past were $4.99 each after buying one pack of any other Marvel product. Basically every new set has come out recently with at least a 20-30% markup. I don’t see this being cheaper than $8.99.

I did Marvel Weekly both years and the first year was the most excruciating grind I have been involved with on epack, and thats saying a lot.
I wasn't going to do the second year, but UD messed up the release and released all weeks in one go, so I was able to sit back and watch the madness. This year may be better, but it is a real PITA and not worth the effort, even knowing Fred Ian did the sketches.
My guess - and a relatively conservative guess is that it will cost about $15,000.00 to get a sketch.

I don’t think a $288 a week average is a conservative guess.

Don't get too excited - they are digital base cards.

I'm guessing that you could offer Fred Ian $2000 and he'd fly to your house, sketch your significant other in your favorite character's attire. Possibly even make you dinner.

Chase away though.

Zero interest after the last couple Marvel Weekly shams.

I'll be opening one pack a week to do the base set because I love art cards, and I love Ian's style.

Going to be a joke to chase the achievement though, I'll take that money saved and buy a sweet Ian sketch off ebay and save myself the 52 weeks of pain and a couple grand.

"Four Character Quarterly Achievement cards, each serially numbered to 999, will be made available throughout the first year of Marvel Unbound."

Interesting...

I find this hard to believe.

Your artistic skillset has to extend to other areas.

Regardless, have fun watching how quick this sells out each week.

Appears to be sold out. Took about 15 minutes. I had one in my cart and wasn't sure if I wanted to buy. Price is kinda steep.

Bought three hoping to maybe hit an auto but nope.

Next week can one of you purchase one for me as I'll be in the middle of a root canal.

I can either trade you one of this week's Ant-Man or just pay you the $11.99 and we do a trade on epack.

So “Fred Ian” is actually 2 people... Fred and Ian Leroy? Learn something new everyday.
