i am doing this with Mantle, and was able to land the Vides Mantle for $10 shipped

I boiled it down to relative. It's the amount of money that the artist set has gone up on wheeler's site. Just imagined that he bought a pretty static amount of every card and as demand on his site goes up for an artist, so do his prices?

Yeah I think we need to start trying to pick when it's going to be an overnight 3-4 and then around card 600 when an AP makes it all the way to clock expiration.

Ron English Bill Buckner and Mimsbandz Matt Kemp made it at least 24 hrs.

Mister Cartoon Dick Allen was up a while.

Either it was the Topps site or low demand, but both Toy Tokyo Mike Piazza and Joshua Vides CC Sabathia were up all weekend.

I could really imagine some of these combos making it overnight. Today is not a bad pick, though Saladeen has his fans. I don't think we're gonna see APs making it to expiration until mid-summer. And if Topps ever responds to the waning demand by lowering the price back to $99, i dont' think it's ever going to happen. The magic number for these cards and the less sought after foils is somewhere between $125 and $150.

My takeaway from Wheeler's artist set pricing is that Pardee is by far the most popular even with the high print runs. Distortedd's price is probably more a function of Pedro having a not so high pr. I think it was close to the low at the time so its harder to go back and say acquire more / probably not many left. And then there's a whole lot of artists that you can still get for way under msrp which tells me demand for this stuff if far lower than P2020 even after Memorial Day.

Well any price under 400 is under msrp unless you're ordering 5 and 10 packs. His original pricing was 319 for the 20 cards and a bunch are still that price:

Wondering how people missed the Pardee Acuna?

That card was plastered everywhere online when it was active on Topps site.

The Ermsy Trout I can see, as we had no clue what was really going on 6 cards into p2020.

Full disclaimer: I have bought zero Action Bronson cards. There's only one card where I have genuine remorse. I have purchased one blue the great cards as part of a three pack and despite trying to sell #94 Deion Sanders by Blue the Great PR 1640 on ebay at just over cost, I have had no takers.

I don't think it was missed, but then the flippers went overboard with the Trout so the Acuna looks rare in comparison.

I missed on it. Didn't think much of it. A cool card and all but hadn't taken P20 seriously yet. Then I saw the Trout and was like "ok I'll pick up Trout and there's enough Acuna sold that it shouldn't command much on the secondary..." and here we are, and me without an Acuna still 😪
