How do you slow that down if you're PSA? Slow down the pace they're going out the door. Send out a wave of those cards, let the wave crash onto eBay, evaluate where you are, release the next wave.... it's also why the quarterly specials are stuck. They were full of Jordan cards and they could completely submarine his market if they turned all that loose at once. Plus, give out more 9's because 9's usually produce less variance because they're at such a good price point compared to the 10 regardless of the swings in the 10 that they're a lot more stable to not drop past a certain sanity point. If they can float the market through until they open the doors again, they'll be in the clear and the market will have achieved equilibrium again.

All very good points, however I really don't think PSA is just sitting on these intentionally to control the market. You really don't think PSA would purposely hold them and their customers hostage, do you?

I thought the wait was long enough in QA2, now USPS is doing their best to extend this out longer. 8 days for return shipping and still not at my local post office on the east coast.

Whoever asked why the cheapest tier modern isn't moving can see that example for why. That was a 148 card order. What I understand is they will only change that date once every order logged on that day is done. If they happened to get a couple of say 1k card orders (is that a thing) and it takes them a while to sort through them it will stick on that day until they're done processing. In my experience other orders are going out (with later dates) but since they haven't finished that days logged order the date in the completed through list doesn't change. Perhaps there's some even bigger logged order in the many thousands from that day. Who knows? Just a thought.

Bulk modern now at 21 days in QA2 and counting. My last 4 bulk orders took less than 5 days to ship once they hit QA2.

Max # of cards per submission is 500 cards but you are right on. A couple of 200-300 card order or even a 500 card order can definitely stall the completed through list a bit. That's why for those with non-value orders, you really can't compare any movements on value vs non-value orders.

My Value Modern (50x cards, the slimmest of bulk) logged on 9/15/20 went to Grading on 3/5/20 and is where it sits now.

This order left my house 7/15/20... 72 days away from one year. I know its early, but anybody had an order take over a year yet?
