Those BGS prices don't sound right. I've seen a PSA 10 floating around for $7500 for 5-7 days

Yeah it didn’t seem right either. I’m not the best at navigating eBay so I could be off.

I couldn’t find a PSA 10 for that price, though. I may need to revise how I’m searching

Couple of the 2019 Transcendent have moved on eBay the last couple days. Thoughts on where it will stack up longer term compared to some of the other sets?

Last 2 sales look really strong. I enjoy following sets that are more under the radar, even if they may be premium. Some of the 100 may still be sitting in the sealed sets making the available supply even lower than 100. I’ve never held a card from Transcendent before, but they looked like they are super high quality.

SellthePeak shows $740 on the best offer. Cheapest one left on eBay is $2099.99 OBO for a PSA 9

Based on the picture and serial number of the card, looks like it sold for $525 in February without any condition notes. Must’ve gotten returned and relisted selling for less with surface issues mentioned 2nd time around.

My own fault for not paying attention, but does anyone else get frustrated that there is a 2016 BC prospect auto and NON-auto for Tatis with the same image? I ended up overpaying for one of his non-auto (#BCP17) cards, which was signed (PSA 10/AUTO 10) because (as I said) I didn't know any better, and the PSA wording on the label honestly makes this an easy mistake to make, if you aren't paying attention.

It seems like there a ton of these signed, non-auto cards up for sale right now and I feel like a lot of buyers probably don't even realize what they're buying.

My fault for overpaying, but just wondering if anyone else has noticed this/almost made this mistake before.

Oh yea, transcendent has all the ingredients to really take off and be one of the “it” cards. High end product, vertical, hitting, very rare, no parallels.

It is frustrating. I look at the number first now (#BCP17 v #FT/CPAFT)

Yep, I totally agree...I feel like the transcendent base has been overlooked in the tatis price run-up, and if he ever puts together a sustained super-hot run, these could be tough to find at reasonable prices. Seems like the prices are already starting to gap up, which is what happens with tough-to-find cards.

They seemed like they started to run last season when he was in the mvp discussion, then faded when he got injured. This latest movement seems like a more long-term play, similar to a corporate equity that runs up and then consolidates at a lower price before making a run.

I say this as someone with a half decent sized investment in, and big fan of Tatis:

Hope he finds his way, gets back to producing at least a hit or 2 real soon, or he’s going to be the highest paid AAA Player in MLB history ....

They are one of my favorite from visual appeal... think rainbow foil parallel type card look, mounted on a metal backing with high gloss metal frame

Well... his BABIP is .217 right now... which feels low

And in support of that... Statcast currently has his xBA at .286, and xwOBA at .407.... if he gets there by end of season, that probably puts him in top 10 batters range (2019 that would have been the 7th best batter for the season)

Honestly his fielding errors are a bigger concern for me

BABIP almost always regresses to the mean. It will pick up. Just some bad luck most likely.
