Welcome back, I tried it but it's honestly not as enjoyable as Top Shot. I might give it a shot in the future. I did try Colonize Mars but the slow down when packs were being opened was frustrating. I did learn what "crafting" and "burning" meant, even though it was a 5 hour lesson, so that was cool. At a certain point, I realized I'd rather be playing a computer game. It really makes me appreciate what Dapper Labs has done the last few months. I'm actually looking forward to their UFC product and any other future releases.

A small victory...

I sold a double digit serial # TROSS /35K that I had bought back in March just past the peak for a small profit. I thought this would be a good time to flip it with TROSS being in the CC challenge, lots of eyes on it.

This was one of my bigger overpays, so happy to turn it into a few more Dapper $.

Liquidate few hundred moments to take profits but still have about 500 moments. Looks like TS has landed and trending back UP the last several days. Began watching more carefully the last few days. The playoff should be good.

As for ToppsNFT/WAX. I wanted to learn the platform before any big move that may happen in the future on the Wax platform. just hit a 5 digit $ valuation on Topps and just holding for now. Like in cards, NBA is way faster moving , looks like MLB will moving like molasses. Also i bought some WAXP just in case on of the other NFT takes off on WAX.

Lamelo is back. you should be looking good.

Just fyi you need to have at least 3 of the ‘certified ballers’ in your showcase to be eligible for the $20. There is a link to who they are in the showcase blog post.

But yes, I knew he'd be back before the Hornets were knocked out of contention. I also figured LaMelo would stay away from driving as much for the stretch run but that underhand pass was just damn Magic-like. I hope they make that into a TS Moment.

Just remember waxp is only good for buying singles and packs on the secondary market, initial pack drops can only be bought with credit card though.

Yeah...not good at all. At least it is a 5 moments pack. Even with one of these above it won’t be a home run drop but will still net at a bare minimum 3X the $14 pack price. Hopefully at least one or 2 of the commons are /12000 or /4000.

Agreed, that was my first reaction. More looking forward to getting the common moments to bump up my moment count.

Not so sure about the trading moments for tickets ideas. It would be awesome to get a season 1 pack but there's going to be thousands of people who trade in their moments for tickets and just lose their moments. Not a big fan of zero return and giving something away for a chance at something else.

The floor raised on common Moments from $3 to $7. They could drop back down once S1 packs run out but Im sure they'll have more ideas. Additionally, you'll see many Moments "burned", which will help with the 35K Moments prices.

And that's where I'm interested to see how this pans out....

You won't be trading your moment for nothing, you'll either get a new series or recycled moments other have traded it. So what's going to be the floor for the recycled moments?

Obviously, everyone trying to get it will be sending in their Jordan Clarkson's and Larry Nance Jr's, but do people chase tickets enough to be trading in better player moments like Chris Paul?, Dame Lillard?, Nikola Jokic? /35000. How far up the player ladder will people trade to have a shot at new stuff?

I listen to a couple of podcasts to keep up with Top Shot. From what I gather, TS is trying to put out a set & challenge that could be done for a reasonable amount of money, say less than $100. This checklist quality is directly aimed at that it would seem. It's been out there that completing a challenge will probably be a requirement for something (pack drops most likely) in the future, so this would be them saying we gave you a set to complete on the cheap.
