Just turned it on and Kevin O’Leary picks Palantir (PLTR). Here’s hoping it has a great year!

I’m surprised we haven’t seen more splits recently to be honest since both Tesla and Apple popped after their splits.

Kevin O'Leary chose PLTR, some people on here will love that.

Guy I watched picked Disney and Starbucks (wanted PLTR 2nd round).

Never understood PLTR and the valuation. I’ve bought and sold it 3 times because meme stonks are fairly easy short flips, but just don’t see it long term.

I started it as a swing play and booked a decent gain. I think it’s a good one to accumulate under $25.

I don't usually play with penny stocks. But, FAMI has me interested after the huge dip today. Going to put in $1k and see what it does. I think after this stock offering, it will double up.

I bought in this morning again for no reason at all. Considering selling now and waiting for an actual dip.

They have a “wealthy parent” in Japan that seems poised to insure “their kid” is a success in the US. I love their growth story over the next 10 years. COVID was a setback on short term growth, but maybe a benefit in the long term if it serves to free up more available real estate spots nationwide as other restaurants close.

I just can't get to the market cap and don't see how it doubles into $80B company.

I just can't see the path. I'm dumb, but I want upside with moderate downside and if old school valuations ever come back something like PLTR gets crushed.

I absolutely love the product, but too many government deals and too few clients currently. The DOD usage for this leads me to believe (probably incorrectly) that this product would only be allowed to be sold to our allies. I want what I think could be a global product, and I feel this technology is capped.

Even if you don’t see it as a long term hold it still works as a low $20’s/ high $20’s swing I think. My plan is to keep 500 shares longterm and swing any shares I hold above that amount over the next X months.

I don’t disagree, I just absolutely suck at swing trading. Inevitably I always lose more that way. I’m also dumb.

They are winners. That company is a winning company. The food is dog poop, but the stock is a different story.

How do you guys reconcile of selling timeline vs. price target? I have a newer account where I said I won't touch anything for a year but something I purchased has already run past my hopes for it.

Stick with rule of no touching anything for a year? Take profit and move money to another position?

I'm a big boy so of course have eaten my fair share but can't believe my dad loves the stuff. The only thing I appreciate locally is their delivery speed.

Ended up selling this AMZN share at open for $3,515 after watching last night’s post-earnings surge dwindle. Was kind of hoping for a split announcement.

At any rate, I will see how things look today before adding anything. Might add to my BABA which is at $231 now and/or COIN which is at $292 now.

They (AUPH) are having a nice day... congrats!

In the realm of eBay, I have had Mercari (MCARY.OTC) on my watchlist for awhile. It’s OTC and very lightly traded tho... current volume on the day is <1,000 shares ... so I’ve avoided it. Maybe if it drops to the teens (current price $24.08) I will put a little into it.

Have an exit strategy before you enter.

Have it for a reason.

Never deviate from your plan. Ever.

Your exit strategy should have both a high and low number (what you want to make versus what you can stomach losing).

Remove emotion from investing. That is what separates pros from amateurs.
