i am about done with this game for awhile. I am now 8-4 in ranked seasons. My last 3 losses came when I hit NO DOUBT home runs and right as the ball was going over the fence I got disconnected and got an error message saying I can report the issue

Definitely not getting double XP because showdown had me at +1500 for beating last one and I'm not above 326.5 with playing another mission since I last checked

Double XP is for games only not showdown. So RS, BR, conquest, etc. it was never for showdown

Fernando is a glitch lol. That circle change is filthy. Ran him in a ranked game. Won 7-1. CG 3 hits 1 run 15k

Expanding The Show to XBOX was a terrible move for the franchise. Their servers arent strong enough to handle it so they go down every single night. Those that work 8-5 jobs can't play until after work, but they are always down after 6pm it seems.

It's not necessarily the expansion to XBOX, its whoever's dumbass and greedy idea it was to put it for free on their gamepass option

I don't think it would be that bad if it was just people that actually bought the game are playing, but the option for people bored or 1st timers just trying it out for free is clogging it up

Probably a combo of both. But it's getting really old. They had a lot of time to prepare for the expansion.

I threw a no-hitter (9 inning game) with Giolito only to have the servers crash in the post-game loading screen. Now going back in there's no trace of the game in my game history. ��

It’s tough for the servers right now but in the long run this will be a huge benefit. A ton more revenue means more and better legends every year.

Their margin for error is brutally slim though.

Game had a massive fanbase with PS players, and if it carried over to XBOX then ofc better numbers and more $$$ for everything.

But how much of the fanbase is getting turned off right now and new potential fans because the game is virtually unplayable during certain hours?

And they supposedly worked on the servers 4 days in a row, and its STILL bad. Like how unprepared were they?

So somehow I lucked myself into a PS5 yesterday and am gonna pick up MLB 21.

As a 100% noob, how would you suggest I start off, as I usually just play seasons against the computer, but the whole online concept seems fun but SUPER complicated.

I'm not interested in spending money on packs or players, so how does someone compete on the cheap?

I'm assuming I should be doing BR before ranked seasons so that I can build up my team, right?
I feel like I'm gonna get lost in the menus trying to follow all these challenges and packs and etc etc etc.
