Sorry if this has been asked somewhere in the previous pages but did COMC completely discontinue the Monthly Shipping Bonus Credit or is it temporarily suspended? I believe they gave $5.00 of credit for every 100 cards they shipped to you. Thanks.

I assume that it is a way to make sure the correct card has been pulled for the order. Pick it, scan the barcode and if it doesn't give an error it is the right card. There is no robot that can remove cards from 9 pocket pages, so it is all up to humans to do this task. Used to be only the graded cards got this treatment if I remember correctly.

What does 7 posts have to do with anything? I try my best to contribute where I can. I apologize if was drifting off-topic.

As others have said and in my own experience, they take super long to answer emails. Just keep trying. For my orders COMC didn't respond until after the expected shipment dates. They automatically refunded me the shipping charges and gave me the option to cancel if I wanted.

They are having so many problems shipping out orders on time they have removed it to reduce that being another reason for people creating giant orders they can't fulfil within a timeline. I don't know if it's coming back, but I doubt it. Maybe something to ask them on Facebook.

Agreed, they only started doing this when their new hires in the new warehouse screwed up a ton of orders they're still trying to figure out (per Tim on the Youtube Sports Card Live show). So they bought a million dollar card sorting machine that requires the barcode to operate, and are retrofitting their existing system to work with the new system. Going to require extra work up front in hopes that it will improve speed and accuracy down the line.
Is it going to work? I don't know. But what they were doing wasn't working, and they're still trying to remedy the February orders that were all jumbled up. Looks like they're not getting everything right on this "fix" as well because of the people reporting that they're getting the wrong (better, but wrong) parallels of ePack cards they ordered.

Tracking here that I've now had three orders shipped out and received AFTER I made a 2/16 rushed shipment order of 45 cards that seems to be stuck in some sort of shipping hell.

Also going on Day 15 of not receiving any sort of emailed response when I questioned where it was and requesting the rushed shipment funds to be returned to my account.

Sigh.

I took a chance and requested shipment for three cards on 4/16 (express rushed). I needed them back quickly for a trade.

They were delivered today 4/27.

I was shocked it worked out for me.

No, he/she got exactly what he ordered to be delivered in a time frame he/she agreed to. If it doesn't arrive by the deadline agreed to they have a case.

Actually no, they are putting the cards in sleeves anyways. Adding the slip would not be much more. Pretty sure top loaded cards already have them based on previous orders I have received. I would hope they are using a hand held printer that prints as needed for the process. If not, then yes it would be quite time consuming.

So...you ordered from them, and they did not get your cards to you on the promised date. Anyone else having this problem?

Actually I was thinking about all of the inventory previously in house. I agree that doing that with new items that come in would be no biggie.

Funny how they added the buffer and still miss their dates. No integrity

I shipped 613 cards to COMC that were due 4/14 and have not yet been uploaded. I sent an email and the response was:

Thank you for contacting us! Upon review of these batches, it appears to me that all the items they contained have been deposited successfully, and that the batches merely need to be formally or officially concluded in our system. I have relayed this request to our Processing team and will follow up if I receive any new information.
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

I sure hope that guy doesn't know what he's talking about otherwise someone there misplaced or stole my $2500 value order.

I have been trying to figure out what is going on with my order for about a month now. Ordered Jan 25th, received an email Feb 16, and has been sitting at a status of packaged for Canada ever since. I have never received an email that the order has actually shipped but the fact that it has been noted as being packaged for some so long and that there is an actual ship date of Feb 23 listed in the status has me pretty nervous that they have lost or damaged the order.

Status: Packaged for Canada
Tracking: No Tracking
Date Requested: 1/25/2021
Estimated Ship Date: 3/19/2021
Actual Ship Date: 2/23/2021
Estimated Delivery Date: 4/6/2021

Emailed them 5 times so far looking for an update and have received 0 responses. I am beyond frustrated as I had ordered a Vladdy auto card for my son’s birthday which I think has zero chance of getting here on time now.

Wondering if anyone else who has been through this has seen their orders sit for months after getting the packaging email or does the order usually ship soon after that? What do you think the odds are I ever see these cards?

I have a bunch of other cards that I have purchased still there for my collection that I would love to get but between the top loader situation and the shipping delays I don’t feel I really have any option but to leave them there until things resolve. I think I could live with that, but it is how they have simply ignored my inquiries that really burns me.

It might just mean that they have to go through the last part of the processing - I was told ages ago that each group of processed cards goes through one last check before they are released to the seller for pricing.

I believe Tim specifically said the robot was for the pre-shipping sorting phase of the workflow. So pickers will still be doing their job, and then bringing everything over to the robot (instead of employees) and then the robot auto-sorts by order based on the barcodes (no idea how it looks or works) but I imagine something like a coin-sorting machine. Maybe stacks of cards for each order. Then the packing/shipping department goes from there.

Hopefully it helps, but tbh it feels like the storage system could be one of the issues, especially cos I keep reading about the 9-page binder system and I can't stand the thought that it's anywhere near efficient for pickers (especially if they have to shuffle cards).

I have (5) 3-week batches of about 6,500 cards that are all overdue...

That sucks, but I'm not surprised, that's a lot of barcode/image printouts.

Who wants to bet what takes COMC down is actually having to pay for ink cartridges

I've never seen it stop at that phase before - mine have always just gone to something like "In Transport to Canada" or whatever they say. It seems like every other process and service is backed up so I'm sure this is no different

The “Shipment Request Successfully Completed” is just totally pointless BS that COMC stupidly seems to think will somehow mollify you. Even months after your request was completed many months after it was requested but still nothing is happening. It means exactly nothing.

I would presume the “Packaged For Canada” is just more of the same moronic absurdity. Cuz what business, anywhere, at any time in all of history, would put together a customer’s package and then do ... nothing?

Down to 98.8% feedback. But the good news is that they are stable at 8.8% neutral/negative feedback the past month. So maybe they’ve reached peak poor performance.

I'm having fun sniping on eBay though, forgot how fun it was.
