I hope they get these issues straightened out before the inevitable Star Wars NFT release.
I managed to get some premium packs, opened one and got the Trout/Ohtani epic. I'm stopping right there. |

Check your base cards, each week (for 5 weeks) you can burn selected ones and craft a Redux pack.

Is this something that can be easily done? Would be easier for those of us who have no idea what we are doing with NFTs, but were luckily enough to actually get some packs. Can see this as an easier alternative than trying to figure out how to move my wax to a wallet, then another wallet then to my pocket...

First off, awesome thread. Nice to see actual conversation happening.
Second, I just started off in Alien Worlds. I’m probably late to the party but the project interested me due to the utility. My belief is these “collector” dapps that don’t really offer much will be left behind and projects like alien worlds and ZED (not WAX, I know) will clear from the fog. That being said, how does Alien Worlds keep going? The sense I got was bots came in and mined all the TLM and then up and left. It’s still there but now users are fighting over scraps. Do they just keep adding TLM to the game? Also, I’m all ears if anyone has any other Dapps that offer utility. I think we are on the ground floor with these and the possibilities are endless.

this guy has a really good article on getting started: https://www.cozycrypto.com/alienworlds/ Here's another great beginner's article: https://goodvibesmining.com/aliens-worlds-guide/ I would bookmark this website as well, has great stats on picking a land with 0 commission and has a live mining map: http://awstats.io/ http://awstats.io/mining/pools - mining pools Anders has a great spreadsheet on the tool stats: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=679518105 here's another great resource to play around with tools: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1149709583 If you own land you get commission from people mining your land but you also get a daily trilium allocation, currently I think it's about 90 TLM per land per day and Michael tries to payout every week, so just being a landowner is nice because it's constant passive income without even having to play the game. I would recommend jumping in their telegram if you have any other questions: https://t.me/AlienWorldsOffical and my other favorite and very popular utility wax nft's is r.planet. They have several partnerships where you can stake NFT's from their partner list and earn their aether token. With their aether token you can craft materials to invent new things. They just introduced land to earn new materials as well. Both of these games have a lot of depth but just take your time and take a look around. you can see the list of partnerships https://rplanet.io/staking where (all the NFT's from the project if you stake them on rplanet will earn you aether, the more scarce the NFT the more aether you will earn, except alien worlds values are low for some reason) Here's a great tool for recipes https://rplanet.tools/generator so if someone invents a new item the first 600 of that item get an actual NFT, that can be opened and staked or sold, if you craft after 600 of that item then you just get a fungible token (can't sell or stake but can use to craft new materials) PLEASE NOTE: Staking on R.Planet means you are giving your NFT's to another account, I'm not sure if they hold our assets on a hot wallet or cold storage but this is always a concern, so use at your own risk Both projects are great.

I put $500 into Alien Worlds. Bought some decent tools to start with. I actually enjoy the long grind but not that much to do it with the starting tools. It’s an easy game to jump into and you can dive in as deep as you want. Pretty cool project imo.

curious if anyone know what exchance (or other) wax an attomic use to calc exhcnage rates. Like is a drop is fixed at USD 100 and the cost for wax prices fluctautes what do they use. I know its not bittrex as cots usually seem to be below that range.

I've heard that problem from multiple people but also curious whats going on there. Same with simplex taking forever to buy.

Anyone have any thoughts on the MLB release? I've been following in the Baseball forum and predictions vary but most people think it's going to continue to rise. I'm curious what those of you with NFT trading experience think. I'm planning on holding my premium packs for now.
Also picked up the max of each of the Mutant Rockers, thinking those packs should be a long term hold. |

If you're patient, you should be able to get a much better return that that. I picked up a few hundred commons for 2-3 Wax each. I assume each week Topps will pick random commons for us to burn to make the Heritage packs, meaning random commons in my collection will suddenly become very valuable. The rest I would hold onto for a while, as they should rise as people build sets. Mutants of Rock is already about 4x release price. This should jump once the cards are stakable on Rplanet. I've been trying to snap up singles before that happens, as single prices will double, then triple after that. Unrelated note, I built a news site to track major Wax releases, as I was having trouble finding one resource that lists them all. https://wax.guide/ Also, a new Twitter here: https://twitter.com/wax_guide |
